IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Deserted by His Lawyers

It seems to be a bad time for Biafra revolutionist and Radio Biafra director, Nnamdi Kanu as his 15-member legal team have withdrawn their services.
A team of 15 lawyers representing Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous of People Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra, in his trial for alleged treasonable felony have withdrawn from the case, according to The Cable.
Vincent Obetta, spokesman of Kanu’s legal team, announced after the ruling of John Tsoho, justice of the Federal High Court, Abuja, refusing the IPOB leader bail that he was no longer his counsel.
“Upon the application of the accused person, the team led by Nnoruka Udechukwu (SAN) and Joe Adi (SAN) no longer represent Nnamdi Kanu,” he said.
“We are no longer in this matter.”
Earlier, a mild drama ensued in court over legal representation for the accused person.
Kanu had written a letter to the judge, stating that his lawyers were Chuks Muoma (SAN) and Ifeanyi Ejiofor, excluding Udechukwu, who argued his bail application, and Vincent Obetta, the counsel, who had represented him since the beginning of his trial at the chief magistrate court, Wuse zone 2, Abuja.

What do you expect from a confused and selfish acclaimed leader who thinks about his ambitions and gains not minding what will be consequences of his actions on lives of other Igbos that are scattered in different parts of the country. I pity the souls of young Nigerians who lost their lives in this avoidable madness "Biafra struggle" People advocate for self determination using diplomatic means and dialogue but we choose to protest and some hoodlum used the opportunity to cause mayhem.

Op, is like you attended almajiri's school. An accused person standing trial has every right to change his legal representatives at any given point . There is nothing wrong for Nnamdi Kanu to change his lawyers okay? Thousands of lawyers both here in Nigeria and aboard including whites are ready to represent him.
