abdulwastecx: Yours need to be tossed into the trash can Christianity is almost the same with Islam. Both believe in monotheism existence one God, both of the. Share the same geograical location and both draw from similar pull of books. There are Christians and Muslims in almost every nation in the world if not all . Look around all those people claiming to be religious, look at the city and counties they live in compare it with those that are free minded, people that allow logic and scientific evidence to dictate for them and see. Russia , US , Canada , Germany , Italy , UAE , UK etc have more than 80 percent on the population on the average identify as religious . So what are you talking about Nigeria a big slum of large Christian population, in fact we are one of the most religious country in the world at the same time one of the poorest, most corrupt, highest birth rate one of the lowest life expectancy rate etc because we believe en fairytale exported by whites and Arab. Many European are moving away from these stone age ideology and building better constitution and society that treat human fairly. You are very uneducated , such odious vacuousness . How does Religion prevent advancement ? How does Religion prevent the government from providing educational facilities , roads , employment ? Tell me . Imagine if you don't have to worry about some sky daddy, Where in the bible did you find out that God dwells in the skies ? ...you will be able to treat your fellow country men equal Mark 12:30-31 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” If you love your neighbors as yourself you will treat them equally , be a patriotic citizen, pay your tax instead of enriching some pastors, solve human Romans 1 : 1-7 13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. 6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. instead of enriching some pastors Matthew 7:15-20 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. solve human challenges 2 Timothy 2:15 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God and value your life more Deuteronomy 27:25 “‘Cursed be anyone who takes a bribe to shed innocent blood.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’ 1 Corinthians 15:39 For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish. When you die, you die. You rot in sheol. QED. There is no heaven or hell. Even the garden of eden described in Genesis doesn't exist on this planet earth. The entire TANAKH (Hebrew Scriptures or Old Testament) is based on aspects of ancient Hebrew history, interspersed with ancient Mesopotamian folklore and mythologies. The New Testament contains concocted narratives whose authorships are ascribed to the Apostles to legitimise their authenticity. Of course, the veracity of John's apocalypse on the Island of Pátmos (in today's Greece) is nil. It's all unverifiable and unfalsifiable truth-claims. As such all these eschatological claims and apocalyptic promises are false ideologies meant to create false consciousness in the mind of the proletarians, explaining why religion is not only a spiritual gin, but also the opium of the masses. Africans in general and Nigerians in particular need to allow the light of enlightenment to shine upon them so they can be released from the shackles of religion which still leaves Africa a dark continent. 4 Likes 1 Share |

sukkot: This is the most ignorant statement I ve heard this year! Please research the origin of the KJV. It wasn't even the first English bible. It borrowed from the work of William Tyndale and John Wycliffe who translated the first English bible from the Latin vulgate. The KJV was published as the official bible of church of england (Anglican church) and would no longer need to read Latin bibles. Modern translator looking into ancient manuscripts have found that KJV contains spurious texts. Which were not part of the original ancient manuscripts. So I don't know where u get your divinely inspired notion from. I have no problems with the what translation u prefer. But to say a bible translation in achaic language that a modern English speaker grapple to understand is the only divinely inspired bible is quite absurd! |

The blacks around the world are being deceived to accept that an African American rules the United States but its false . This is a plan by a major white intellectual group in the US and this has been kept secret for years now .. The real name of the black man who is being presented as the US President is Jordan McFerrlin - a Swedish spy of African descent . The black nation has to rise against this deception and say no or forever remain in darkness - subdued always by the white man . no be only you sabi talk none sense 7 Likes 5 Shares |

If you wish to demonstrate how to say something that doesn't make sense, that's up to you. It shows you have the capability to spew trash. All these are word of God as documented by men as they experienced God. Emphasis should be more on the "experience of God" than the "word of God". No matter how sagacious one is describing the pleasures of s€x (Word of God) it can never be like the actual experience of s€x (experience of God). |

abdulwastecx: If you are to bring back to life the author of the book of revelations and drop him in a place like Dubai, the author will tell you he is in heaven . These guys wrote and imagined a better world when they were under occupation and we're lacking almost all the basic necessities of life. It's funny how people living in the 21st century century still believe them. 3 Likes 1 Share |

dalaman: When a student made an excellent contribution in class, my English teacher (back in the 1980's) would say "that's poignantly articulated" and I say the same to you today, sir. If you take John the supposed writer of Revelation to Monaco today, he would say that's the heaven I'm describing. Sociologists have described religion as a diversionary tool (some sort of altered consciousness) which takes the mind of the proletarians off their current predicament often in the hands of the bourgeoisies. |

Chukazu: "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14:2). Of all the gospellers, John is the most hideous. His version of the gospel came (c. 90–110 CE) after Mark's, Matthew's and Luke's versions of the gospel. So, he basically coined and added stuff missing from the other gospellers with a view to cementing earlier works. This verse is one of those concocted additions. |

Whether or not there are mansions is immaterial to me. What matters for me is that God is there, eternal life is there and peace and prosperity clothes its inhabitants. |

KingEbukasBlog: Stop throwing silly bible verses around that supports what I am saying. Does your God want people to know if people will inherit mansions in heaven or not? If he wants people to inherit mansions then why are you guys arguing about it? Why doesn't he ever tell you guys exactly what he wants? Why are you guys always confused about every issue? What exactly is your God's plans for the after life? Is it for Christians to live in.mansions I'm heaven or not? Why the confusion? 1 Like |
Re: Dealing With Misconceptions : Do We Receive Mansions In Heaven? Errmmm by KingEbukasBlog(m): 7:09pm On Feb 14, 2016 |
dalaman: The thread clarifies that mansions , good life ,prosperity are for Christians in the New Earth during Christ's second coming - clearly written in the bible . Its a common misconception to think its in Heaven - God's abode . I once thought that God came from nothing (self-existent) - a misconception - even when the bible made it clear that He is eternal , no beginning no end . Would you have asked me if I was confused ? Many Christians still have the belief that God's power made Him come from nothing . A christian comic book I had as a kid made the clear insinuation that He did and I picked up on that . I still remember the first page of Him supposedly coming from nothing. The adults told us to refrain from asking who created God when the bible clearly stated that He had no beginning You Mr really have to loosen up with the way you see Christian beliefs. Stop the objurgation and try to understand basic stuff before you spew your suppositions . |

Re: Dealing With Misconceptions : Do We Receive Mansions In Heaven? Errmmm by dalaman: 9:14pm On Feb 14, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog: Not really because the bible has Jesus clearly saying he will come back and take people to go and be with him and stay with him in the place where he came from. John 14:2-4 "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” The passages are all ambiguous and subject to interpretation. What exactly does God want people to know about him from the bible apart from confusion? Nothing in the bible is clear from the nature of God to what he wants from humans and how salvation can be attained. Nothing is clear. Everything just depends on which sect you belong to and how your pastors and other preachers interpret the bible to you purely based on their own personal opinion. Nothing shows that all religions are man made like the endless confusion and failure to agree on basic things in their religious scriptures. I repeat if the bible is the work of a living God the way christians claim then the bible will be clear like the multiplication table. 1 Like |

dalaman: Off course . During rapture , the saints will be taken away to heaven - God's abode . Then during His second coming the saints would be back for their eternal stay in the New Earth . The New Jerusalem will be brought forth from Heaven , according to the bible . The mansions and all are in the New Earth Dalaman , apparently , you chose to harden your heart against God . We've been repeating this same thing in this same thread and you are obdurate about your opinions on the subject . |
Re: Dealing With Misconceptions : Do We Receive Mansions In Heaven? Errmmm by dalaman: 9:45pm On Feb 14, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog: I have told you what my problem is with religious scriptures, the fact that they are not clear and the various different interpretations and opinions that abound and why it all amounts to a total failure. I do not chose to harden my heart against any God . If there is a living God that exist and wants me to know him and have a personal relationship with him as you guys claim, you will not he here speaking on it's behalf. He will do all his bidding himself. |

dalaman: On his behalf ? I have a penchant for having arguments .. no more like a propensity to argue - I sometimes disagree to whatever opinion one has - that's how I believe I can learn from another person . And the religion section is the best bet . Comprendre ? Someone can find Christ without the bible . |
