Rewarding party loyalists is different from clearing logjams, the minister of education confirmed this with the recent sack of 12 VCs without due process & replacing them with party loyalists. I do not see any mess being cleared by that.

What i see been done is PMB clearing office holders & replacing them with party loyalists.

Sacking 12 VCs is wrong esp without due process but there is nothing wrong in rewarding party loyalist. The important thing is that are those loyalist qualified to man that position, if they are, no big deal.

The budget is quite ambitious but the question is how do we intend to finance this budget. Where do we expect to get revenue required. It is clear we cannot finance 40% of this budget and when you add debt source internally, recovered fund and blockages of leakages let's say 50%.
So we have to source 50% of our budget via external source. I am just not too optimistic as I was at the beginning of this administration, make APC no think say time still dey o.

PMB and his team needs to wisen up real fast. They should ask God for wisdom to lead a place like Nigeria and in a modern economy of today that people and analyst really have to think out of the box before you can succeed.

Its no childs play thing to govern Nigeria, a country with so much good & criminal brains with complexity, couple with modern time economic challenges. It is not enough to sit back and and said things would work out nor apportioning blame on past administration for your incompetency without taking proactive moves to trash off such incompetency. No one was born with knowledge/wisdom, but it is freely available for those that seek after it. They should just pull serious sensible effort to fix up things. Look for and consult the brains. They are all available in this same country. Give the right persons the task and see them deliver to you.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos, yesterday expressed confidence on the ability of President Muhammadu Buhari to come up with a clear development plan for Nigeria saying what the present administration is doing is to ‘remove logs that have fallen upon one another’ starting with fight against corruption.

The fiery speaker however urged Nigerians to use their voter’s card wisely at the next election.

He spoke at the 2016 Obafemi Awolowo Birthday Commemorative Symposium held at the Efunyela Hall of the Awolowo’s residence in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, where various speakers bemoaned the dwindling fortunes of the country.

At the event, Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State, among other eminent Nigerians, also advocated the adoption of the progressive ideas and programmes of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo for Nigeria to move forward.

In an interview with reporters at the sidelines of the symposium earlier, Bakare had thrown his weight behind the anti-corruption campaign of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

Bakare said anti-corruption should not be the ultimate end, saying the government must come up with policy thrust.
