Pls, when I switched on my laptop it was on,
my desktop was there n all but it was hanging then, I pressed d switch button to switch it off. I tried putting it on but d start windows stayed 4like 10mins I switched it off again but wen I put it on it showed a white and blue screen. I have tried using the safe mode but its still the same. Please, help a sister because my project is on it and I have no back-up for it. I use a Compaq Presario CQ57. Thanks.

Donsammi: some say itz reqistry probz l0lz... .. Guy get a qeniune win7 dvd & key and install 0r as a 9ja_boy you can use crackz and win*7 activator,keygens #risk are urs to take. GooGle is ur friend postinq of keyz nat allowed here!!

Ok, thanks.. Stil on d matter. i av a mini zinox smart laptop, 8gb, 504ram. for over a month now, i av a prob wit my mini laptop..ystday i took it to computer village and a guy was runnin a bootable window XP cd on it and later it stops and couldnt continue, then he uses a window XP proffessional cd and it was booting then later stopped and was asking for a file "asms" before it can continue, and d guy said, he cant do it, that the RAM seems faulty...now what am i to do.. How much can i get a RAM for, or can i still resolve d issue without buying a RAM.

. I recently got a new hdd since the former was nt working. How much is it going to cost me to repair the damage

fauty Ram LOLZ ...guy is it an external cdrom drive?.. the cdrom couldnt read the winxp cd well ... as i alwayz say GOOGLE_is_ur_friend!! search abt "winxp installation needs asms file" or u can choose to install tru usb ...

Whenever I start windows normally d starting windows icon appear but it wl just stay there without leaving d screen

asms not loadig means the cd is either faulty or he needs to use another format type for the ssd. he should have reloaded it but this time using fat format not ntfs

i guess thats on the motherboard . can you take a pic of the burnt part for proper view of things.

All you need to do is a startup repair. Get a windows seven cd from a local store and get back in here. please dnt proceed at your own discretion if you dot wanna lose those files

just press the windows key and r. nest type dxdiag then enter. go to the display tab and all you seek would be listed there

Input: Hello Gurus,my laptop(hp compaq) refuse to start after I left if for about a week when I travelled.Though the ON button and wireless button shows light,nothing shows up on the screen.Not even startup sound.I need help about it.Thanks
shey na cold catch me ni or what? ok do this for me. Disconnect the adapter and remove the battery. hold the power key for 30 to 45 seconds, insert the battery back and try starting it you might need to try the process several times

yeah, you said it was burnt . I want to know how you came to the conclusion that its burnt. Did you open the system or what? Just take the pic of the burnt board then i should be able to ascertain extent of damage and its cost implications.

i got this laptop(Hp pavilion dv6-beat audio) dat m currently av sum niggling issues with like 5month ago...experts in the house pls help out
1.the pc takes forever to shut down(happens like once in 2 or 3 dayz)
2.the dvd rom tray works abnormally too(bt after restarting the system it works perfectly again)
3.also noticed something recently after starting the pc...the homescreen atimes ll go blank..buh the task manager do open...av scanned for virus malware on the system e.t.c buh the p is still hangling all around....seriously confused af

Formatting and reinstalling a new operating system would solve the problems.

shut down or goes to sleep. Check the power settings. Also what media player do you use?
