please guys, my downloads always stop at 99 percent. i dont know why tho... embarassed . thats whenever am using Mozilla firefox. so i tryd gettin google chrome. Same result..... they all stop at 99 percent. i need your help guys
try turning off your antivirus and attempt to download. This is not recommended though, as it exposes you to security threats. The browser catches the files you download to the cache and the antivirus upon scanning returns the command to save it to the download folder. An error by the antivirus whilst parsing the file can delay the command to save it to the download folder. This makes it sit at 99 percent forever. This is the sure bet. If no joy, try to run the check disk utility. Into your start menu, type run, in the dialog box, type chkdsk. You may be notified that the disk checking should be scheduled for the next restart, select yes. Reboot your system. The check disk prompt will check for file errors and lasts according to the size of your disk and files. Good luck.
If the problem is solved by the first option, then reinstall your antivirus. If it's solved by the latter, then you need not to do any other thing.

This must be a BIOS error, have you tried to remove the battery, unplug the system and press the power button for 35 seconds?

this must be a problem with your power options. When on battery, change the power plan to high performance and let's know how it goes. Good luck.

there should be an activation disc sold alongside your windows installation disk. Taking it to be that cheap one. Follow the instructions to activate and go online to complete the activation. Let's know if you're able to do so.

Its not in the recycle bin? If it is, restore it.

You could just make a new folder called Videos. That's if you are trying to get the folder back and not it's contents.

Have you checked the recycle bin?

There might be more complex ways to recover your files but I'm no expert in data recovery.

if the video folder is not in the recycle bin, it may be because you emptied the bin or you used the Shift+Delete button. anyway, for every problem, there must be a solution. try downloading Recuva (google that). it should be able to recover from the sectors of your hard disk.
when you delete permanently, the files are still there in your hard drive, just the allocation is deleted, leaving the file intact to be overwritten when next the part of the hard disk the deleted item(s) were. try that software and lets know how it goes. Good Luck

in addition to the reply, you can try to go to My computer, select the drice, open your user folder, the check if videos folder is there. if yes, then drag the folder to the library. i think you deleted it in the library, not the real video folder. then if eventually you find out that youve permanently deleted the folder, refer to my previous post. thanks
