Mikel Obi had some time with the Nigerian fans on twitter... just finished watching all his clips in answer to some of the many questions Nigerians asked him.

A true captain indeed. Enjoyed every bit of it.

haha.. you have spoken correctly..

Mujtahida:

Leadership is not necessarily about building infrastructure. It's about uplifting the consciousness of your people, making them see themselves in a great light, birthing a resurgent dream in their hearts. As in the first responsibility of a good leader is to deliver the Word. That's why I hate all these our transmission transmitted leaders. Take away paper from their hands, come hear absolute rubbish wey go dey comot from their mouth. No word, no dream.

His primary position is the right wing though his club tried developing the attacking midfield part of him before finally shifting him back to his vintage point (the right wing). The boy is Robben-esque.

the thing is, you can't give what you do not have and since the process(es) in which we select our leaders is/are faulty, what kind of leaders do we expect to have? Most of our leaders are just figure head. They do not even possess basic leadership skills.

Easy bro. Just leave that guy.

They will eat their words come June 16.

We know their type. They are only here because the European season is over.

They have been trooping in here since that Athletico game. They know nothing about the current Eagles set up.

I wonder how someone will just have such a negative mind set about his own national team.

Omo Ebola don escape for Congo ooo... Are we still playing Congo ? 3 confirmed ebola patients escaped quarantine although now found. 27 dead 5 are healthcare officials. WHO is preparing and warning against another West African epidemic. Even without the game Nigeria is at risk.

Some years back, Ebola was in Nigeria. Nevertheless, the Super Eagle went to play in Congo Brazzaville. Did they infect the Congolese people?

A people that know their history and respect their land will never be lost....Look at Israel and their battle to reclaim what they assume was their land...I said assume because I have an opinion. If there is anything we should be taking from the white man its how they love, respect and guard their history which dictates how they see themselves. Me and my wife are from the same town, I wasnt born there but I am more proud and informed about our town than my wife and that gives me an upper hand in family and community matters.

A little white girl at dentist office told her mother "I want her hair" and she was referring to my daughters hair....The only people who think black hair is ugly are black women
black man suffered a collapse in his consciousness. I really can't figure out how he'd regain himself.

Brazil of 70 will trump all of them because they won. If the Dutch and Brazilian team of 82 had won it would have been highly contestable as to which team is the best. Was watching a documentary on the 82 team. Their loss to Italy is described as the day football died.

Musa, Abdullahi Join Super Eagles Camp In Uyo
May 23, 2018 9:56 pm
By Kayode Ogundare in Uyo:

CSKA Moscow of Russia forward Ahmed Musa and Bursaspor of Turkey defender Shehu Abdullahi have joined the Super Eagles pre-World Cup training camp in Uyo, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The duo’s arrival increased the number of players in the team’s camp to 27.

Earlier in the day, the trio of Odion Ighalo, Simy Nwankwo and Leon Balogun linked up with the rest of their colleagues in camp.

Only skipper of the side Mikel Obi, John Ogu and Victor Moses are still being expected in camp.

Gernot Rohr’s men will take on Democratic Republic of Congo in a friendly game in Port Harcourt next week Monday.

They will also face England and Czech Republic in other tune up games before the start of the World Cup in Russia.

The Super Eagles will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Their opening game is Croatia on June 16 in Kaliningrad.

Brazil of 1982 played beautiful football but they lost to pragmatism. Italy played smart and knocked them out.

I hate that thing with passion. That's why I was happy that the IG goofed. If he had spoken extempore he would not have fallen into that transmitted pitfall.

A leader must be worded. In ancient times leaders were taught how to speak it was called rhetorics.
If you invite our leaders to give a speech at their own birthday they will ask their PA to write a speech for them.

No be so dem go copy Charles de Gaulle I belong to everybody and I belong to no one put for Buhari speech?

Oga no read from no book. Open your mouth yarn!!!!

Idowu: I’ll Be Forever Grateful To Nigeria For World Cup Chance

Amkar Perm of Russia defender Brian Idowu has expressed his appreciation to Nigeria and coach Gernot Rorh for the opportunity to play international football.

Speaking to Completesportsnigeria.com at the Super Eagles pre-World Cup training camp in Uyo, the 26-year-old also commented on the journey it has been for him from being a virtual unknown to a World Cup prospect in just six months.

“It’s been a remarkable experience for me. One minute nobody knew me and the next I have the chance to play at the World Cup. It is more like a dream for me, really. I will give my best always in order to justify the confidence of the coaches,” Idowu told CSN.

Born of a Russian mother, Idowu is also eligible to play for the 2018 World Cup hosts but he claimed the decision to play for Nigeria was a very easy one to make for him.

“My father’s from Nigeria and I know he’s always going to be proud of me. Besides Nigeria gave me the opportunity to play for the national team and I will be forever grateful for that,” he told CSN.

Idowu made his international debut for the Super Eagles in last November’s friendly international game against Argentina and scored one of the goals in a 4-2 win.

He was also in action in the last two friendly games against Poland and Serbia.
