ECCE QUAM BONUM ET QUAM IUNCUNDUM HABITARE FRATRES IN UNUM( SEE HOW GOOD AND HOW PLEASANT FOR BROTHERS TO LIVE IN UNITY).

It could only be done by Obiano...A man of Extravagant Humility.

Today, history was made in Anambra state. Today, an impossible thing was done in Anambra state. Today, a noble man swam against the tide for our people to progress. The number one citizen of Anambra state showed an extravagant humility in the presence of his subjects. It is an action that speaks volume and worthy of emulation. It was an action that brings a lasting peace to the socio-political and economic environment of Anambra state. I still wonder the stuff this our governor was made of. My question remains "Who is this man, Chief Maduaburochukwu Obiano?"

His Excellency, Chief Dr Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano has shown the light today. It is now Nunc Dimmittis to late Rev Fr Nicholas Tagbo. Requiescat in pace, Amen. So, shall it remain in Anambra state IJN. Amen!

He demonstrated his passion for Agro-business when he visited our factory without our prompting. His model of agro development in Anambra State is sound and practical. We are therefore partnering with the state to turn Anambra into a net exporter of agro and allied products.

Please don't mention anybody's name. You will simply be telling the Fulani general in the villa who to target with his DSS and heavy taxes. I said same thing a few years ago when people were all over the Internet saying IBETO would build multiple cement companies at PH, Enugu and Nkalagu. That media blitz evoked serious plans from the highest offices to confiscate Ibeto's equipment and frustrate every attempt to create cement companies that will rival Dangote.

Please stop this practice of mentioning innocent people and causing the wicked bigoted regime officials to target them

Due to the importance of the relationship between the farmer and the manufacturer and how critical this relationship is to the success of agriculture, the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, paid a working visit to Tiger Foods Ltd Onitsha.

Chief Obiano sought ways the government can incentivize Tiger Foods Ltd to cultivate a large percentage of their raw materials in Anambra State. Tiger Foods Ltd also has pledged to join the Anambra State vegetable export program with a massive offtake of vegetables from Anambra farmers.

More cooperatives will have to be formed and coordinated in order to meet the massive demand expected from this heavy lifter. Offtake from Tiger Foods alone is expected to shoot up vegetable production and export by over 25%.

Anambra State Government, headed by Chief Willie Obiano, has continued to implement policies that stimulate the state economy and the agriculture sector such as this current drive of CREATING MARKET LINKAGES for our rural farmers.

Thank you don Don Ebubeogu MD of Tiger Foods Ltd for thinking home

New Yam Arrives Ose Marine Market Onitsha
04 AUGUST 2016

WRITTEN BY EMENGINI OSADEBE
The much awaited new yam has finally arrived the river bank of Oseokwodu axis of the River Niger popularly known as Ose marine market.
It was a beehive of activities as the new yams were being off loaded from the boats alongside bags of potatoes and vegetables.
The new arrival provided menial jobs for the youths who are now on holiday as they helped in off loading the yams from the boat which was coming from Anam Anambra East and West council areas.
Buyers were seen bargaining for the produce which were sold in heaps of hundred and fifty tubers respectively, while vehicles of different types were also seen loading the already purchased tubers for onward journey to their final destination.

Speaking to ABS in an interview one of the yam sellers Mrs Monica Abogu lamented that despite the yams flooding the market, they are still expensive saying that a reasonable size is sold between five hundred naira and seven hundred naira per tuber.
Mrs Abogu who stated that all food items are now expensive complained that there is no money to buy these food items, adding that yam which is the king of all farm produce is expected to be less expensive but the reverse is the case.
Some of the youths who were helping in carrying the yams for the buyers where they will board a vehicle decried the high Cost of the tubers saying that they no longer make profits as their customers do not pay them fees commensurate with their services.
