One day strike will have no effect on the Federal Government. One week strike should do as a starter. If they do not comply then we make it indefinite strike. Make Baba God punish Devil.

NLC is a divided house.

Part of it is headed by comrade Ayuba Wahaab, while another part is headed by comrade Joe Ajaero.

Comrade Wahaab is Government labour President while comrade Ajaero is workers' labour President.

Unless there is alliance between the two factions, the strike action will remained a threat.

That is even the reason for the lateness of the strike threat .

Let's watch.

Easier said than done......hummm....... The tendencies of compromise by NLC is out of proportion. Its seems PMB administration is coaxing with NLC to play democrat on media....despite the fact that Power tariff was increase and the fuel scarcity is getting out of hand while they fold arms and do nothing....NLC needs to exhibit action rather than play democrat on social media....We need to start seeing things working effectively in our society as hope and promised to be by APC.....NLC coaxing with PMB administration by acting less to the present situation in our economy is Mephistophelean and Egregious.

It is a shame that we have an NLC government who are meant to be the mouth piece of the people, remaining silent in the mist of all this problem of no fuel, no light, NEPA bill exorbitant increase, naira devaluation, killing of innocent nigerian's etc being experience in this administration and NLC refuse to act until now. Even if NLC refuse to act very soon nigerian's will pump into the street.

What has been input of Labour towards curbing the recent hardship? I will like to see an open involvement of Labour in ensuring that some of our sufferings are not made more severe?
I want us to see the strike as a last option.

When contracts are awarded, Labour union members are aware. When they are abandoned, Labour union members are aware. Most corrupt practices that drain our economy are seen day by day by the members of our Labour unions. And as a result many suffer from the Negligence or conspiracy of others.
Labour needs to dialogue closely with government as a first step to putting things under control. If government is adamant or insisting on taking the wrong decisions then a strike will make sense. So that when we all buy black market fuel for N600 a liter during the strike we will know the reason why.
