I've once attended Sped too, it was the best school i ever attended, no shouting, loitering, running, sports, bullying, giraffing, no sh.its, it has good pupils from polite homes. (mostly FCE Staff children)
Everything was calm and in order, and that was in year 2000.
However, i finished at the renowed and rugged Igbobi College Yaba as a border.
Igbobi college's anthem has four stanzas with a chorus sandwitched inbetween, the most outstanding part of the anthem is the last sentence of the chorus;
"Wherever there's an Igbobian, there also is a noble NIGERIAN"

I remembered the time I was seriously flogged for not been able to sing it after that i learn the anthem within minutes. I graduated 2004

lucky u boss. I never learnt that thing. Was always chewing my lips. I left in 97. Couldn't adapt to d harsh environment. U know how hard dt school was. Even though, am sure things calmed down when u were there cos seniors later became children. In d early/ mid 90s, dt school was a hell hole. Old men with hairy chest calling demselvse seniors. I go soon open thread on 'most brutal secondary schools in d 90'. Damn! Thinking about it is sickening
