kobonaire: So when you buy a "danfo", you will pay for a basic package. Do you understand what that means? That is basically to re coat your vehicle which is why i said it would cost more to do it in the states. Everybody know that anything "basic" is to get you into the door. By the time you are done you'll be paying exactly what i said. It cost me two thousand five hundred just to change from standard white to red. |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by kobonaire(m): 12:25am On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bollinger:Oga - all the other prices are there ..... the next package is $599 and then $1K. The premium package in $2K. Why you would do that for a "danfo" is beyond me ..... rather you spend that in the ride you and your madam will cruise in |

kobonaire: All i can tell you is what i know from experience. And from experience to change from one car color to another in the U.S to will cost you that amount and based on reviews i see they have really poor ones. Anyway, you get what you pay for. So, if it it the usual shoddy standards you are looking for then go ahead. Sometimes i keep forgetting i am in a discourse with Nigerians. I was referring to quality work which i am used to. I can buy paint and a spray can and do it by myself, but will i get get the same quality? And since we are googling and not going from personal experience, i might as well use the internet as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acvHQ9uHK3w |

Bollinger:We are talking about a danfo here. What would be the sense in spending more then $1K on the paint job. Maaco's paint job is plenty fine for this use and it does not cost more than a grand. Why would you spend more then 1K on a commercial vehicle? Does not make much business sense. |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 1:18am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: Which is why I said based on your being used to low quality you can go that route. Other normal countries have a standard. Be it a cab or otherwise. |

Bollinger:Ha ha - Oga, you sound judgmental and elitist. Only a mugü in the US will spend 3K to paint a freaking danfo bus, he is sending to Naija, with premium paint ..... |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 3:56am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: If you mean I try to go for quality, yes I am elitist. |

Bollinger:Oga, only a mugü in the US will spend 3K for a "quality job" on a kombi bus he is sending to Naija ..... |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 4:16am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: A yellow bus parked in a person's house in America does not mean it is meant for "danfo" in Nigeria. Plus, your extremely low standards does not apply to everyone. |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by kobonaire(m): 4:21am On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bollinger:That is what this whole discussion is about isn't it? You did not even know you can paint a car for $1K in the US .... yet you look down on folks in Naija .... ha ha .... see mûgu for America |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 4:34am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: I didn't. You know why? Because everyone I know would not paint their vehicles for less than the amount i stated because you would have to repaint it again in another year and the vehicle would look like crap. Penny wise pound foolish. Google is not always your friend. Sometimes personal experience is a lot better. |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by kobonaire(m): 4:39am On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bollinger:Na, you be mügu .... this is what happens when you rely on food stamps and govt assisted housing .... it takes your edge off dude .... next you will be boasting of spending 3K on a freakin paint job of a danfo bus. Then you will try to be condescending to folks in Naija because you think you are "superior" and in reality you are the dude that has no clue |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 4:44am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: Now you are just ranting. If I was on food stamps would I be able to afford your 300 dollar paint job? The simple fact is you are used to low quality so your first instinct would be to go for anything sub standard. I understand. And why would I not be condescending when you will do anything to avoid quality? Lol... |
Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by kobonaire(m): 4:55am On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bollinger:You are most def on food stamps and sec 8 housing .... you are so clueless about the US yet you make fun of Naija folks ..... you are the hungry clown in America ..... |

Re: Nigerian Woman Saw Danfo In Houston, Texas (photos) by Bollinger(m): 5:16am On Jun 26, 2016 |
kobonaire: Google is not always your friend. Especially when you can't back it up with personal experience. That's how you become a computer warrior. |
