externally u can see the difference in the special air filters fitted to the engine inlets which is missing from the airforce version.

this allows far better performance in deserts etc very close to the terrain surface

one of the advantages is that it allows the the heli to fly into dust storms if necessary or unavoidable , and ur engine will be as good as it was cutting thus reducing maintenance and chances of engine burnout

well NA was/is in india for consultancy/training purposes specially regarding the raising of their army aviation unit.

chances r high they will come across or be briefed on this platform (RUDRA).

but primarily emphasis will be on the MI35 / MI17

also there is the LCH but unfortunately i cannot name the African countries since the matter is under negotiation

dont get me wrong

u guys r like ........... see a big boobed lady and get all dicked up grin

would it not be better to first remove the bra and check if it is real and not padding and balloons grin grin

u see or only bother to see the tip of the iceberg.

now to the matter at hand

if a army is to raise a aviation unit , initially which helicopters would it choose to built and test the framework / SOPs / command chain etc on ?

answer : the helicopters which r available and with which they r most familiar with , and specially the helicopters operated by the airforce whose manpower resources, SOPs , infrastructure and expertise etc they can absorb (standalone or modified) much easily and with minimum costs and within minimum time.

hope u will now keep in mind to always check the b................ grin before jumping to.. ahm ! well...... grin grin

added info

during wartime and even peace time warships/submarines just dont sail out of ports and harbors , first screening teams and minesweepers clear a path for safe exit of the warships .

also aerial assets r pressed into service to increase the sanitized zone/ route of exit of the out going convoy .

also during this operation the underwater harbor/port defense system helps to keep intruders out who might want to mask their entry with/during the embarkation of the convoy
