Wich mini subs for special ops ?

There is a diver operational unit on kilo submarines ( pics 1, 2) they can be deployed from kilo

If you are talking about the propeller for divers . yes we have seen some exposed in algerian navy public exposition ( last pics)

The diver unit is for delivery from kilos ?
That is some serious capability shocked

I was asking about mini subs / midget subs / swimmer delivery vehicles .

The recoil force is at least 10 TONS!! it must be either hydraulically stabilised like this Tigr or have a mechanism allowing ground firing. As it is I doubt it could manage a 100 round fire mission.

Well u discounted the option that recoil can be managed via active recoil damping at the system itself.
So u no longer need a mechanism to transfer the recoil to the ground via mechanical damping riggers. wink

Soft recoil systems of mortars allow reduction of recoil by 90% at the weapon end itself wink

The COAS is a good guy, recently he literally kicked the ass of some of his fellow generals after he spotted them playing golf when in a nearby airfield the body of a soldier killed in action with terrorists had arrived for last tributes .

After paying his respects to the soldier he went ordered the closure of the golf course for all military.

And notified negative commendations on the generals who were playing golf . Good luck getting promotions now grin

Many missile related technology developed by DRDO was used to develop cost effective and efficient medical equipments and devices

Eg.

1. Development of Floor Reaction Orthosis (FRO), from lighter, advanced carbon carbon composites used in missiles, to help a polio victim stand on his withered leg. It helped to reduce the weight of callipers from 3 kg to mere 300 grams and costs only ₹ 300 ~ 6 $

2. composite material used in the heatshield of the long range ballistic missiles was used to make better performance tilting bileaflet discs in a heart valve ie pace maker. It also reduced the cost by 1/3rd.

3. Coronary stents used to keep arteries from clogging up. The imported ones were very expensive and not available to everybody and so precision engineering technology and speciality high grade steel used in ballistic missiles was used to develop the same. The resulting kalam-raju stent costed only ₹10000 compared to ₹ 75000 of the imported ones.

4.cytoscan used to acquire and analyse bio cells for abnormalities like cancer etc developed using technology from life support systems and image processing systems used in military systems.

5. Cardiovascular catheters developed using speciality alloys and ultrasound welding technologies developed for ballistic missiles.

6. Low cost artificial larynx developed using mil grade alloys and transducers used in missile systems.

7. Titanium bone implants using the tech developed for the same for use in ballistic missiles.

Yes,but can the dampeners last for hundreds if not thousands of rounds? I'd love a vid AND WRITE UP from a neutral source.

Every component of every weapon is rated for its mean life time and has to be replaced , nobody will buy a system whose components have high failure rate.

Systems without soft recoil have their components subjected to higher stress and therefore more prone to fatigue.

Recoil forces getting transferred through the body to the ground

Or recoil forces getting dissipated at the point or close to point of origin without having to travel through the body

Which system will have more components failure ?

Don't have videos or source

I am the source if u want to grin grin grin

That must be one badass WMD. shocked shocked shocked

Palm wine is a sort of drink extracted from palm tree. People drink it here. It intoxicates sometimes.

Palm oil on the other hand can be used in making soup or just frying stuffs. Basically whatever you can use groundnut or vegetable oil for.

Most people use both to cook normally.

Russia admits defeat on its 'stealth' F-35 killer by canceling mass production on the Su-57 fighter jet

The Su-57, a plane meant to function as a killer of US F-35 and F-22 stealth jets with an innovative array of radars, saw a brief period of combat over Syria, but the deployment only lasted days and didn't pit the jet against any threats befitting a world class fighter.Russia announced earlier this month that the Su-57, its proposed entry into the world of fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft, will not see mass production.

“The plane has proven to be very good, including in Syria, where it confirmed its performance and combat capabilities,” Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said on Russian TV on July 2, as The Diplomat reports.

But despite Russia's non-stop praise for the plane and dubious claims about its abilities, Borisov ultimately said, "The Su-57 is considered to be one of the best aircrafts produced in the world. Consequently, it does not make sense to speed up work on mass-producing the fifth-generation aircraft.”

Justin Bronk, a combat aviation expert at the Royal United Services Institute, told Business Insider that Borisov's comments "could be charitably described as an unreasonably optimistic reason why they stopped production."

Basically, Borisov said the plane is so much better than everything out there, they don't need to build it, which Bronk finds unlikely.

Instead, Russia will stick to what it's good at with upgraded fourth generation aircraft in service instead of the Su-57, which originally was meant to replace the older fighters.

Initially proposed as a joint project with India, the Su-57 hit trouble when neither side could agree on how to split the production and technological development. After 11 years in the program, India withdrew, leaving Russia to go it alone with a weak economy.

Now, India has been discussed as a potential buyer of the F-35 in another blow to Russia's dream of developing its own fifth-gen fighter. link https://www.pulselive.co.ke/bi/politics/russia-admits-defeat-on-its-stealth-f-35-killer-by-canceling-mass-production-on-the-su-57-fighter-jet-id8610995.html

They're not mass producing because of this, the main engines are still being developed and bc of finances.

There is lot of trouble with the avionics etc

They need more time to mature and lots of debugging.

Eg TX/RX modules made of Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) are not operating as per requirements.

They wanted to repeat the su30mki saga all over again.

Ind.. paid and contributed human resource and technology to development of baseline su27 into su30 and in the bargain got shiiit to show for it. While the Russians laughed all the way to the bank by churning out varients of Su30mki and selling them.

Billions of dollars of taxpayers money wasted.

The news about SU57 program coming to halt broke out after Ind.. officially confirmed it has withdrawn from the SU57 program for the time being and might join the same at a later date if things look ok for the SU57 ( polite way of saying unless u agree to our terms for equal share in profits and share of technology u won't see a dollar from us )

Lol once Bitten twice shy.
