The seed is a nice one. Can someone get it through you? Cucumber, Tomatoes, Hot Pepper & Watermelon to be precised. Hoping to hear from you on this.

No, I don't sell them, you can buy from China, through Aliexpress. I can recommend you some stores if you want.

Well done! We are planting veggies in containers as well. I'm curious, why didn't you use fresh tomato seeds from here? Like from the ones sold in the market?

can't tomato seeds be sourced in Nigeria?

OP are you a farmer or you do this for a hobby. Your work is so so professional.

I have spare space as big yours overgrown with weed here and it wouldn't hurt to experiment.

Alright, I will, but my major challenge is the rainfall. Right time to plant tomatoes is towards the end of rainy season. Heavy rainfall can destroy tomato plants especially when they're still growing.

Not just at the growing stage but also at the flowering phase. This is one of the factors militating against high volumes of tomato production the south compared to the north.

When the flowers are destroyed, you end up having low yield.

I ordered some tomato seeds from aliexpress and the seeds were delivered to my house in Lagos at no extra cost. Just search and choose items that have free shipping to Nigeria. I recently ordered the seed below and it would be delivered to me at home next month

I received my items from the post office even though I did not use Post Office Box, I used my house address. Check the nearest post office for your package.

Thanks for your compliment. You can buy seeds in Nigeria but I wanted different species. Farming is obviously not my profession, but I derive pleasure in doing it. smiley

Thanks man!

If I understand you correctly, you want to know how I apply fertilizer to the tomatoes.

I think tomato plants have special fertilizers but I've only used cow manure.
