U are right is time ijaw, ibibio etc unite and push imperialists yoruba out of south south.

You. are wrong. As a Nigerian you have the right to live and work in any part of the country. There are so many Ijaws living and working in the southwest peacefully unmolested. The OP is referring to militants and not ordinary Ijaw people living inter southwest.

Yorubas are the only zone in Southern Nigeria that have never flexed any military muscle in Nigeria from independence to date. That's why the Northern oligarchy could rule Nigeria comfortably from Lagos for 30 years until they tranfared the Capital to Abuja. I think everyone knows about the docility of Yorubas towards military confrontation and that's why anyone from Niger-Delta militants to Northerners can go down there and cause mayhem with no repercussions. Luckily for Yorubas, we Igbos are more civil to join the bandwagon.

Yoruba people are not fixated on where the president comes from. They just want justice, equity and fairplay. Our utmost concern is the development of the industrial economy of the region while we continue to look forward to the restructuring of the nation. Have you ever bother to ask yourself why people from other regions are trooping to the southwest on continual bases.

OP,
Yorubas are united and we are aware of what's happening. There is a calculated move to legitimize the call for State Police and actually establish one. It can be done by demonstrating that Federal Police is incapable of securing SW.

Likewise, we have clear evidence and justification and collecting data with which to table before UN in our efforts behind the doors to declare referendum for regionalism.

It is best OPC does not get involved in the fray. If they do human rights activists alarmed by the body count and manner of death will follow behind and broadcast to the whole world that Oodua Peoples Congress is committing genocide. It will tarnish SW and the name Oodua.

If OPC could operate a small scale operation, which will be hard for them to do once involved, then it might be a good argument to bring them in.

@uupgrade. You dey brag Togo, wetin him fit do wey them kill am like cow?

Most honest truth is it's we that's gonna lose, cause there are more of us in SW, than them in the SS.

IOC's move their HQ back? bro have you visited Rivers, Delta lately? If i'd a billion dollar, i'd have a double thought investing there, talk more of a total stranger.

And why did Asari situate his billion naira school off the region?

The common man in the Northern & Western region are not your enemy, lieu, our enemies are common - THEM LEADERS.

Objective reasoning not violence dude.

I just spoke to a resident in that axis and he confirms that those militants are Ijaw.

The have been bunkering oil in that area for a long time selling to the locals and filling stations.

They were chased from their former area of operations by soldiers and they've relocated to the the Ikorodu axis.

It's the locals that tried to resist them leading to their violent actions.

We should post more information on their activities and locations as we recieve it.

They've called attention on themselves and they will face their end in the southwest.

Why is it that you ibos have no sense of integrity ba? So ibos have never caused commotion in the SW? Do i need to remind of your last misadventure when ojukwu biafra babes dropped bombs on lagos killing yoruba people? Also how Ojukwu sent his ragtag soldiers enroute to lagos before we had to stop them at Ore.

So the yorubas are docile? Oh well, when the yorubas starts on the so-called Niger deltan militants, it is the same mischievous folks like your good self that would turn round to castigate and lampoon them, screaming genocide and barbarism.

Be rest assured that the territorial integrity of any part of yorubaland will not be allowed to be compromised by some silly idiots shouting "our oyel, our oyel". We are slow to react but when we eventually do, the final objective must be realised else we won't bother at all. We surely wouldn't allow anyone to destroy the peace and tranquility of our ancestral land because of their stupid "oyel".

This is just the beginning of the End but there shall be no End until we finally see the End of the BEGINNING.

The ijaw militant attacks in lagos and ogun states needs to be put under control by uniting and empowering vigilante groups in this affecte. Areas to support d police has the security in this area,s has worsened and could spread deeper into lagos and ogun state.kidnapping, rape, murder, robberies and now the south west witnessing its first pipeline explosion in ogun state is a warning sign of how out of control the situation is getting before it reaches area,s like ikeja or abeokuta. The goverment lagos and ogun state must declare a state of emergency in those area,s and the ijaw militants chased out forcefully before they wreck havoc in the whole of lagos and ogun states.a stitch in time saves nine.

How do you know it is the ijaw? There is a Yoruba man that has been raping women and even children, robbing and killing people in ikorodu (I cant remember his name) how are we sure it isn't him that is causing mayhem. .Everybody is now tagged a militant now.. The fulanis that you all saw with your two eyes you couldn't do anything, now you are making now over a fellow southerner..
