No need for insults now. Let them move first and lets see the results. She na me go dey carry myself from sw go east to do wetin.
My argument is this. The market is not in SE. Reason is becos igbos dont trust themselves and copuled with the fact that 5,000 Igbos can be struggling to do the same business therby creating a stiff and futile competition. At the end biz will be poor. Thats why they tun out of thier region to places where they can dominate the business.

Oga, the largest market in the west Africa region is in SEastern Nigeria...

So your base of argument is flawed and your reasoning is quite poor.

East must be developed.... No more Lagos Damn! I'm not responsible for East underdevelopment & misfortunes Who told you to develop lagos in the first place How does this sound? I'm developing my enemies compound and surroundings while mine is lacking behind. It sounds foolish right?

Last time I checked Nigeria is not yet developed, so whoever is telling you that Lagos is developed is just deceiving you...

Don't be pained that east will start getting its due attention that will take it higher as a developed region.

And Mind your utterances Lagos is yet underdeveloped

How is he my master when I thrive in my own domain?

The foolish king in Ilorin was the one who trusted the foreign army of the Fulani and made them citizens of his Kingdom. They didn't need to capture the city, they simply took control.

Funny enough, even the descendants of the Fulani in Ilorin feel they must bear a Yoruba name to have a legitimacy to the city. Even the Emir Gambari has his own Yoruba name, the Belgores and the Sagayas have theirs also.

So even without the sword, the Fulanis had to embrace a part of Yoruba culture of Ilorin.
When the Yorubas are ready to exercise control of their own city, the Emir will cease to exist. For now, the shared religion binds them together.

It takes a determined and industrious people to leave their immediate environment and venture into a distant land and conquer it. A bunch of parasitic creatures would rather lazy around in their neighbourhood and depend on their parents for their survival.

You can see the result in the number of street urchins and area boys being bred by the Yorubas in the name of 'sophistication'.

We live in a global village that's why you see the Igbos, Chinese, Lebanese, Indians, Americans and Italians journey to Lagos to conquer the Yorubaland.

Stop whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your means of livelihood is being deprived you.

If Yorubas believe in their capabilities and capacities as a tribe then make today, July 16, 2016, a turning point in your lives to stop disturbing Igbos with your senseless and endless whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your whole essence in life is being taken away from you.

Then channel your energies towards having a separate existence from Igbos. Many Igbos are ever willing to contribute their quotas to the speedy realisation of that quest. Igbos won't miss Yorubas at all.

Convey the message to every Yoruba person to steer clear of Igbo's quest for nationhood. Let's see if NL will from today begin to experience some relative peace from the incessant whinings against Igbo's quest for a separate existence from greedy, treasury looters cum murderous parasites.

It takes HUNGER and not resourcefulness to venture into the unknown, your movies has exposed your folks as those who cannot prosper in your region until they venture into other regions grin grin grin grin grin grin so what are you trying to prove?.

Well, I don't really blame many Yorubas who lay claims to Lagos as their origin when reasonable people rarely claim that they are from Oshogbo, Ilesha, Saki, Kisi, Ibarapa.

Igbos travel to Lagos to take advantage of Yoruba visionlessness, docility and gross ineptitude. About a century ago the Europeans competed amongst themselves in trooping to Africa.

Igbos, Chinese, Lebanese, Indians, Americans and Italians troop to Lagos to create opportunities and conquer the land.

However, if you feel your lazy self is accommodating any Igbo man in any of your enclaves then venture into the streets and put your rants into test.

As for Lagos - it's not your father's property. Lagos was developed and still being developed with the crude oil wealth from the East, and the sweats and bloods of tribes in Nigeria. If you are still in doubt enter the streets of Lagos and prove your worth.

Stop whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your means of livelihood is being deprived you.

We can argue this back and forth but it doesn't change the reality.

From the beginning of this thread to my post, at least 10 luxurious buses have arrived in Lagos with 3/4 of their occupants not having plans to return. sad

Awolowo did not sacrifice 3 million of his own people. A commerce graduate who became Finance Minister who never borrowed a kobo even during the war. A law graduate who was a SAN. An administrator who became the de facto vice president of the country and left on his own terms. A politician who was first premier of Western region and then leader of the opposition, and became the only GCFR despite not being a president.
He died with full control of his senses and health at a ripe old age, with a victory sign to signify his triumphant life.

As for Ojukwu who sacrificed 3 million on a struggle then ran off to Ivory Coast to save his own life that was more precious than the fictitious 3 million lives.
He was dishonourably discharged from the gallant Nigerian Army as a colonel who led a rebellion. The same army he was the 2nd graduate to enlist behind a Yoruba man the year earlier who went on to become a Major General Olutoye of the Nigerian army.
He got pardoned to come resume his role as a subject of the Fulani political dynasty that had brought him so much misery. He was a mere member of the constitutional conference of military president Abacha, a mere junior officer when he was leading a rebellion and rebellious state of Biafra.
He died after being an invalid for years, unable to satisfy his wife and requiring the help of Viagra to get it up. The same wife was the young daughter of a friend and political contemporary who had enjoyed the youthful athleticism of Femi Fani Kayode who was the 3rd generation of his family educated as lawyers in England, 2 of which were at Cambridge. Some labelled him the paedophile of the East and most friends kept their young daughters away whenever he visited.
He was finally allowed to be buried by President Jonathan in Nigerian coloured flag designed by a Yoruba man.
The leader of the failed Biafra buried in the conquering colours of Nigeria.

When you serve, you will get served to.
The Yorubas have served and have been served in Nigeria. Even the minority Ijaws have served and have been served. Even Gowon from a minority tribe within the minority Berom of Jos has served and have been served.

I read the presscast from the meeting tagged Igbo Unity Forum meeting.

I began to wonder if Ibo people, pro-Bantu in origin and genetics, are not better off campaigning for an alliance and formation of a broader Bantu Commonwealth than struggling to get recognition and liberty from Nigeria.

In a Bantu coalition their span of influence will quadruple the geopolitical and economic scale of the Nigerian authority. Militarily their capacity will overwhelm the Nigerian ragtag Forces that are finding the eradication of bokoharam too daunting to accomplish.

Instead Igbo leaders have forgotten their ancestry in Congo, they prefer the Yoruba gene to the pygmytic trace stamped into their Bantu gene.

Moreover, they are not a sea people but distant enough that their soil is sitting on ravines of creeks and groves that weaken and collapse large mass of land area, thereby reducing in size real estate and land assets.

What Ibo leaders do not have foresight to see is the crucial need for food safety. Crops will not yield sustainable harvest in a red soil containing pockets of underground ravines.

Therefore a push to relocate to SE is as good as creating another cycle of refugee crisis. Surge in population will result in overdemand on the land. The land will in turn not yield expected output and might end up encouraging over planting.

Net-net, Ibo in Nigeria or Biafra is at a dead end. Your survival rest in finding and reconciling with your pygymy roots in Congo.
