The present Governor even gave him a good position in his first tenure but the man betrayed the governor & swapped to APC, he's fighting from far. He thought he would still be in the government all his life to celebrate 1trillion. But what they don't know is that you can have money and still remain foolish.....

It's about good investment..He did not use the money wisely, Assuming he bought houses in various parts of Nigerian cities, he would have been ok till now... at least being a landlord all over the state will generate a whole lot of income for him.....

My dear, For a human being to invite people for no other reason than to "celebrate" his 1bn shows the kind of character he is.
Even if he was advised to build houses everywhere, he will still sell all because he must maintain a certain standard of living.

Once you increase your living standard, it's difficult to adjust when the going starts getting tough. Sometimes people realize the need to adjust when it is already late.

how does 1billion finish?
if he spent 1million everyday, he'll live confortably for 4.5 years. Which i'm sure he didn't do
haaa you dont know these people
they will first of all buy N225 million car that is bulletproof
then they will buy a yacht
and they will rent a house in lekki instead of buying one
and spend 400k+ in the club every night
please tell me how that money will not finish?
then they will start selling their property
but they will still spend it wastefully
until they need to borrow 10k to fuel their tokunbo car

He didn't invest or probably didn't invest properly or he lavished his money on irrelevant things or its village people. One of them.

If he had 1 billion in 2004. He should be worth at least 3 billion now with right investment

Is possible he may be broke. But, 1billion without investment is stupidity to highest esteem. If my hand touch 1 billion I will have mansion in America , UK ,Dubai and like 6 mansion in Nigeria in major cities like Lagos,Abuja ,p.h etc which each won't be be lower than 50million naira. He deserved to be kill by hanging.

Massive looting of shared fund of the masses is not a guarantee to evergreen riches, this is evidence in the man who celebrated 1billion naira during the reign of late Alamesiegha a.k.a ALAMCO.
I was a batch A corper between 2004/2005, leaving with my uncle in Kpansia area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. He told me to dress up for a club, that a cousin of the the governor is celebrating 1billion. I was confused initially, but my brother, it was a reality when I got there and saw some of our hot corper babes in club arena, behold! The celebration was that the guy had hit is first 1billion naira.
Those who are familiar with Bayelsa State know who slapped GEJ when he was the deputy governor, who later ran to S.A when ALAMCO was impeached.
Recently, I escorted a friend to his house in Amassoma close to NDU (NigerDelta University), take it or leave, the guy is broke. When I got to Yenagoa and was trying to talk about it with my uncle's friends in where we're relaxing, a guy just asked me to forget the talk, saying he quite recently borrowed 10k to fuel his car.

Marvellous! Marvellous!!, what exactly is the value of 1billion in 2004 and how did he spend the money?

Before he had anything to do with politics, he studied aviation electronics and missiles explosives at the Russian Military Academy. He also worked as a specialist on missiles assembly at the Ministry of Defence in the old Soviet Union.
Interesting. No wonder some threats of launching missiles were made. It may actually be a credible threat.

So basically u attributing his ailing pockets to his being out of govt.

So what does that tell u about all OUR POLITICIANS? Naija is in trouble.

The question i'm even asking is HOW DID HE GET THE 1BN IN THE FIRST PLACE? How??

Please help me pass the message to NDA... now we know why they want more oil blocks lols

That's what happens when you get easy money. Just like yahoo boys and armed robbers. Politicians are in the same league. That is why they are always so desperate to be in power.
