What exactly is the problem the igbos have with yoruba? Why can't they let us be without blaming us for not letting them go? The average yoruba person supports a united Nigeria because what the igbos fail to see while standing we have seen while sitting.

Biafra is another south sudan in the making. It will be filled with crisis between the igbo and minorities hereby leading to a civil war that could go on for decades. No country wants to share a border with a destabilized biafra because of refugee and humanitarian crisis thay will arise. The ikwere's and anioma's have already made it clear they are not igbos. They finally figured out the plan by the igbos to dominate them because of their oil. A united Nigeria is what the average Igbo man needs to thrive as we can see with present realities. The igbos success are recorded in the south west and north mostly. There is nothing to fall back on in igbo land because of the unproductive nature of the region. It will be a huge mistake if they think the region will thrive as a country cos they need the Yoruba's and hausa-fulanis to build a robust economy. A word is enough for the wise. Biafra is not the solution.

No, Biafra is the solution.
I wonder how someone will wake up on an early Sunday morning and create a thread titled "Igbo people" as if your life depends on their existence.
Igbos must go to their Biafra. We Yorubas are ready to help with Biafran actualization.

You've guys should face your lives and leave igbos alone for crying out loud.

I personally am not in support of these biafra agitation here and there, but with the kind of bigotry and hatred being expressed against my kinsmen, I am being forced to believe that truly we don't have anything to do with other Nigerians, especially the yoruba people.

Say no to Biafra

Lol, is that all you could do?

You can only say no to something that you are asked to be a part of.

As far as Biafra is concerned, if it comes to voting, you've got no vote.

Yorubas with lie and treachery are like 5 and 6. SEE>>>>>>>>>>>>

"Buhari is seeking revenge where
there should be love. We are not opposed to the anti-corruption crusade,
but he has left the root cause of corruption which is the lopsided
structure and institutions that represent eternal faultlines of Nigerian
imperfect democracy. The network said that the alliance between the Yoruba
and Buhari were put together by “shortsighted and self-serving people” who
appear to be guided by self interest rather than the overall interest of
the people they represent.

The network stated “It should be clear now to any reasonable person that
the alliance with the Hausa-Fulani has collapsed. The Yoruba people should
begin the process for the realization of their own Republic to the lay the foundation for
the future of the Yoruba people.”

Several groups who signed the communiqué included the Oodua Peoples
Congress, (OPC), Oodua Nationalist Coalition (ONAC), Oodua Liberation
Movement, (OLM), Yoruba Renaissance Movement, (YRM), Agbekoya, Movement
for Yoruba Autonomy, (MOYA), Yoruba Revolutionary Vanguard, (YRV), Oodua

Why?

With foreign embassies, international 5 star hotels, standard stadia, multi national agencies and corporations, standard road network, industrial parks, technology centers, oil, gas, and oil investments, rail systems, sports and entertainment, extensive agricultural investments, real estate, especially high rise, etc, etc...The region can never be unproductive.

I'm surprised every "expert" now uses south Sudan as yard stick for failed emerging nation...but Biafra was never supported even before south Sudan got their independence. Let's have another excuse. The issue is that Nigeria has never worked...and this is caused mainly by the elite in the central government.

and the funny thing is, no Yoruba man has spoken against their beerfra ..

All Yoruba leaders that have talked so far supported them, yet they think yorubas are the one holding them from going to their utopia.

I would have agreed with you if not for the unwarranted insult on great Igbo peoplw. How dare you write that Southeast is unproductive? Can you prove that? Success is recorded everywhere including the most remote villages of Igboland. Stop living in ignorance and travel round Nigeria before making such false and ridiculous assertion.

Oga drink your tea and let others be. Why do you always like to think for the Igbos.

Igbos had never have problem with the minorities, is it when they actualise what they've been looking for that they will start killing themselves, one thing I like about east is that they know how to reach consensus through dialogue.

If you think Biafra is south Sudan in making, why not ask Federal government to grant it so that we will see if you are right.

But bro, Biafra will prove you wrong cos I've foreseen that.

It is hugely amusing when people open threads just to come up with every reason why Igbos should remain part of Lord Lugards colonial creation called Nigeria. It shows the fear and desperation. The funny thing is that you will hardley ever see any Igbo opening a thread to come up with reasons why Yoruba/Hausa people should stay in Nigeria.
