This is the way to go, mate. Make it a weekly exercise and you won't regret it. Helps you save more and eat healthy too, not all the junks you don't even know how it was prepared nor the condition of the kitchen it was prepared. I stopped eating out about 3years ago and only do so occasionally and my alimentary well-being has never been same. I must say though, you need to meliorate your culinary skills. I'll leave it at that. 1 Like 1 Share |

ButterFrost212: more palm oil when he is not ofe mmanu? besides palm oil has got no real nutritional value, except excessive cholesterol ,to a very large extent, using oil to brighten food is just a mindset and culture |

Chukazu: That's true but I also think the soup needed some more oil. It may not be of any additional nutritional value but it makes it look more yummy. For most food, the outward appearance matters much. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Who told you guys palm oil has no nutritional value? It a good source of vitamin A. It is rich in good cholesterol but watch for bad cholesterol as well, so in moderation. Palm oil has no need for hydrogenation needed to make butter and many food you buy solid because palm oil can stay naturally solid. Palm oil is used in many world food you consume for that purpose. So it also has economic value for such countries as Indonesia that has surpass Nigeria in production and as export, even to Nigeria where they got it from. 1 Like |
