Tolexander: He said nothing. Our current generating capacity is 12,000Mw which Jonathan administration handed over to APC. Remember, I said generating (installed) and not transmission capacity if enough gas is available to fire the turbines. We want to hear incremental transmission capacity and linking up most dormant Generators to the grid.

adeyemi2015: It is strange that a man that went to school can be referring to ordinary promise as a "good development". One begins to wonder if this man was in coma when APC was making electoral promises; every Nigerian with a useful brain knows all those promises have been cancelled. But those Nigerians without useful brain still count an ordinary promise by a failed party as "good development". I wonder how they want to justify their education aside being able to type rubbish in English language. 3 Likes |

MadamExcellency: you beat me to it. I was about to point out the same thing. Nigeria already has an installed generating capacity of 12000mw. its just for this regime to ensure a steady gas supply to the plants & fix the transmission network. |
Re: FG Promises To Generate 6,000 Megawatts By Dec 2016 by UnknownT: 10:46am On Jul 30, 2016 |
30000MW by 2030. Means that we may not witness 24/7 power supply in this our generation . For a million population, they need about 1000MW for steady power supply. By 2030, our population would have risen to about 250 million or more 2 Likes |

You mean with all the money and less vandalism during gej era, he couldn't supply gas to this plant and gave us more than 4500. A won omo ale oniro gbogbogbogbo. 1 Like |

It's not when fashola is still the minister. Imagine, when are we going to start generating 20,000 to 40,000 megawatt if it can take us over 4 decades to generate less than 2000 megawatt? We're doomed in this country! 2 Likes |
