Nigerian govt didn't do a state burial for Keshi hence, no need to compare. You can only compare a state burial with a state burial. Only the NFF did.

He was 'forced' to honour the U17 champions, after a shameful initial disbandment because they were mostly the 5%

The Olympics team too the same thing because the south dominate the list.....

I dont ever think that aboki DAlong even know his aim of appointment. He uninvitedly went to niger delta to dialog with NDA that's never meant for his office but forgot to pay a tribute to our fallen sports hero. Then what is he ministering?

This is not about the dead, it is about the living and the soul of the nation. If the living sees that heros are treated like this, what will motivate them to work hard for Nigeria. This is a very dangerous precedent.

It's about honor. If Nigerians treat our heroes well even in death others will be happy to fight for our country in whatever capacity they can. It shouldn't be about the monetary gain but honor and pride.

We blame government every time, we the citizens should in fact take a huge portion of the blame. Compare the two stadia. The one of South Africa is not filled with government officials, rather with ordinary South Africans who came out en mass to pay their last respect for their own. Now look at our own empty seats no body cares! And we are behind our screens, shouting crucify the government. What did we as concerned citizens do, Nothing!. Same thing applies to every other facets of our lives as Nigerians, we lay back and blame the government.
