Godswillnwaoma:
You forgot to add motorable.
Motorable is a valid English word, please!

Godswillnwaoma:
You forgot to add jambite.
That should be a Nigerianism. With time, it could appear in [specialised] dictionaries.

Dilidee:
So instead of 'wake keep' what should b used.
Just wake.

koolguy88:
go-slow is another Nigeria word used instead of high traffic or traffic jam
Yes... go-slow is a good English word, but some Nigerians use it in the wrong context. Go-slow has a meaning in industrial relations, not necessarily on the road.

yutsuf:
Disvirgin
How hard is it to say deflowered? It must be extremely difficult because even health professionals and newsmen use this absurd word that doesn’t exist.
dannywhyte:
what's the point of pointing errors out, without correcting all of them.
Mazeed:
What are the right words to use in scenarios like these

Installmentally should be "in installments."

Night vigil should be just "vigil."

Cunny should be "cunning."

Disvirgin and Deflower mean the same thing. The OP is wrong on this.

Wake Keeping (Wake keep) should be simply "wake."

Installmentally
This doesn’t exist anywhere else except only in Nigeria. If you doubt this, just search “Installmentally” on google and watch only Nigerian sites pop up.

Night-Vigil
This is another one I don’t understand. Does anyone ever hold a vigil during the day?

Cunny
This is not meant as a euphemism for the female body part. When Nigerians say this word, they mean “cunning”. How is that for a giant leap forward?

Disvirgin
How hard is it to say deflowered? It must be extremely difficult because even health professionals and newsmen use this absurd word that doesn’t exist.

Wake Keeping (Wake keep)
Nigerians have not only made the old European custom of watching over a corpse till it’s buried (called a wake) theirs, they have actually renamed it. Please, there is no such phrase as “wake keep” or even “wake keeping”.
Nice one op but there is Disvirgin in my dictionary

We know but sometimes we decide to use them because its generally accepted just as the correct words may sound wrong to some people's hearing
Sure.
Just like when I heard that this is the correct form of that popular saying "You can't have your cake and eat it", but we used to the other way round. I was like why won't I eat my cake when I have it. There are many things we just have to accept and move on in life. Till tomorrow I am still questioning why furniture and information do not have plural form.
