Arsene wenger will never sell such an important player to a direct rival. I remember how angry he was when Chelsea sold Juan Mata to ManUtd years back.

He sold those players amidst financial turmoil. now Arsenal is one of the financially buoyant clubs today.
They are no longer a selling club.
Going by your list the RVP is the last high profile sale from Arsenal and that happened as far back as 2012, and it was because he was on the last year of his contract and Arsene didn't want to make the same mistake United did when they handed Rooney a new contract.
Forget Sagna, he is already past it. He also had to make way fir Belerin at Arsenal.
If Barcelona couldn't lure back Belerin, Man City Can't!

Isn't that the reason why they sold their big players back then?
Barcelona is more attractive than city. They are also his dream club and bigger club than city.
They also guarantee titles unlike city who have only won 1 league title since 2012.
He declined a move to FCB, why do you think he would want to play for City.
City should look into Spurs' kylie Walker or Monaco's Fabinho.

At the end, it falls to Bellerin. There is no guarantee Arsene Wenger will renew and he has the chance to unite with his senior friend Arteta. He can stay in England and have his Catalan people around him.

With Guardiola, his crew and three club heads all Catalans, we have a chance. Although Barcelona might come with an improved offer for him.

If Bellerin wants to join City, it will prove difficult for Arsene Wenger to keep him.

Guardiola Can Change English Football

The football played by Manchester City improved since Pep Guardiola became the manager of the club. The City players try to play the ball out of the back with a possession-heavy style and do not rely on long balls to create scoring chances.

The style of play helped the City players improve. Players like Kolarov and Otamendi who looked poor last season, played brilliantly in most games.

Manchester City won ten games out of the 12 games played and it seems the system of Guardiola can lead to a change in the footballing culture in England.

Manchester City lost their first game of the season after Tottenham Hotspur approached the game the way Guardiola wants City to play. They pressed the City team and made it difficult for City to control the game. Tottenham Hotspur did not rely on long balls and created chances through clever plays from their intelligent players. It seems other teams might adopt this strategy and many English teams might prefer to create chances through clever build-up plays.

The Mirror reports that, former Barcelona defender Carles Puyol thinks Guardiola can change English football forever. Puyol considers the Manchester City job as Guardiola's biggest challenge.

Players and coaches in England prefer a direct approach of playing long balls from the back to big center forwards. The defenders are also big to help battle these big attackers.

In Spain, they play differently were most of the players help in build-up plays. The play is less direct and more possessive. Small players like Puyol and Mascherano became star defenders in Spain because the style of play suits them.

With Guardiola winning with a different approach, other teams may see the strength in Guardiola's style and adopt it. Guardiola can cause a revolution in English football if he can keep an impressive winning record with his possession-heavy style.

City Needs Another Midfield Pivot

Manchester City played brilliantly in most of the games and it looks as if the team can do great things with Guardiola in charge. The system Manchester City plays is demanding and needs the players to work hard throughout each game. In the game against Celtic, the players fought to prevent the team from losing. After the game, the City players could not talk due to exhaustion.

In the middle of these hard work is Fernandinho who played in most games. He plays as a midfield pivot and helps keep the team tick. His passes, tackles, runs and interceptions helped the team stay strong.

With Kevin De Bruyne injured, Guardiola drafted Fernando into the midfield pivot role and gave Fernandinho liberty to go forward. In the game against Tottenham Hotspur, the Tottenham players pressed high and made it difficult for Manchester City to control the ball. Fernando worked hard but he was not fast enough to help the team deal with the pressure.

It seems we are too reliant on Fernandinho and without him in the deep midfield role, it seems we do not get the work rate to help give the team balance.

Fernando is a good pivot as he showed in most games he played but against fast opponents, we need Fernandinho to play that role. Without Fernandinho there, we do not have a strong and fast defensive midfielder to fill the gap.

Manchester City needs another player who can play this role to help when Fernandinho plays another role or if we want to rest him. We can not rely on Fernandinho all season.

City Are The Team To Beat

There was excitement among the neutrals and Tottenham Hotspur fans when City lost their first game this season. The talk of their invincibility ended. Tottenham Hotspur outplayed City and were the better side that afternoon. It shows how far City grew since the arrival of Guardiola. City players walk into the field with confidence and have it in mind they will give their all to help the team win.

Despite the loss, City are still the team many fear. Tottenham Hotspur won that day because they played brilliantly throughout the game. Their players pressed and kept an organised pattern. This was impressive but it is something all teams are not capable of doing.

Former Bayern Munich and Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack told Talksport that Manchester City are the “team to beat” because of Pep Guardiola’s influence.

Guardiola did a good job at Bayern Munich and made changes that helped the team play better. He made the team play his possession-heavy style and they kept their impressive run in Germany. They won three league titles and two DFB Pokal titles in three seasons while Guardiola was in charge.

Manchester City lost to Tottenham Hotspur but it was after playing eleven games without losing any. City also won 10 of those eleven games without a loss.

The players adapted to his philosophy and as they improve, the team will get more difficult to beat. Despite the loss, City players will continue improving and will cope better with tough situations like what they faced at White Hart Lane.

City Needs Denayer At The Etihad

Manchester City won most games played this season without their defending hero and captain, Vincent Kompany. Manchester City have Otamendi and Stones in central defence. There is also Tosin Adarabioyo who is one of the promoted players from the academy.

Kolarov performed well this season, after Guardiola converted him to play in central defence but he made errors in the last two games that caused City to concede goals.

Guardiola sent Jason Denayer on loan to Sunderland to get playing time. Guardiola could not guarantee much first-team action for Denayer and felt a loan move will benefit him. Unfortunately, he is not getting much first-team action at Sunderland and Belgium boss, Roberto Martinez dropped Denayer from the Belgium squad.

ESPN reports that, Jason Denayer has said that going out on loan is "not ideal" after he left Manchester City to join Sunderland. Pep Guardiola told him he would not see much first-team action this season at Manchester City.

Loan moves for first-team action is good for young players who can not get playing time at their parent clubs but sometimes it does not work in their favour. The coaches of the clubs that loan these players do not count them as their own. So they do not get preference in selections unless it is very important they play.

Denayer is quick, powerful and comfortable on the ball. With Guardiola's guidance, he can become a top defender. With the defending challenges we have, Denayer is a good option if Kolarov does not cut his errors.

Guardiola Should Tone Down The Intensity Of His Training

Manchester City begun this season playing with high intensity and the results showed that the attacking style works. Manchester City won their first ten games and the team looked unstoppable.

In the last two games, the results were not as convincing as the first ten games. Manchester City drew in a thrilling match against Celtic. Then they suffered their first defeat of the season in a hard-fought game against a hardworking Tottenham Hotspur.

Reports revealed that Manchester City players were too exhausted to talk after their game against Celtic and in the game against Tottenham Hotspur, the City players looked exhausted during the game.

When Kolarov put the ball into his own net in the game against Tottenham Hotspur, he showed signs of exhaustion when he dropped his head and clutched his knees. This was early in the first half and he looked exhausted.

Insidefutbol reveals that, Dutch fitness coach Raymond Verheijen advised Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to tone down the intensity of his training methods to cope with the demands of the Premier League.

There are a lot of games in the English Premier League and the league requires the players to play at a fast pace. It takes a lot of energy from the players to cope with the league's demands due to the number of games they play in a short time.

The City players work hard to dominate the opponents in the league and need more time to recover. With tedious training sessions, the players will need longer time for recovery.

Guardiola needs to cut the length of the rigorous trainings if the players must meet the physical demands of his high pressing style on the field.

The players must stick to the coach's instructions of living a healthy lifestyle, eating well and having a good sleep to feel refreshed every day.

If the players stick to the coach's instructions of living a healthy lifestyle and Guardiola cuts the intensity of his training, the players will not look exhausted on the field during games.

Guardiola Wants City To Keep Possession

Despite not winning any of the last two games Manchester City played, Guardiola wants Manchester City to win the league title by keeping possession. He wants the team to play a possessive style and prevent the opponents from having the ball.

Manchester City kept possession better than their opponents in most games played but in the last two games, it was a challenge for the team. Celtic and Tottenham Hotspur pressed the team with high intensity, forcing City to make mistakes in dangerous places.

Manchester Evening News reports that, Pep Guardiola explained his simple blueprint for winning the Premier League. He does not want the opposition to have the ball.

Leicester City won the English Premier League last season with less possession than any other team in the English Premier League but Pep Guardiola does not want to copy the system of Claudio Ranieri. Guardiola believes a team that controls the ball, controls the game. He believes that the team that holds possession, stands a better chance of winning.

Guardiola wants City to dominate possession with his possession-heavy style and he believes this can help Manchester City win the English Premier League title.

There is no guarantee that possessive play will make City win regularly but a side that holds possession, creates more chances than the opponents. This means that the possessive side stands a better chance of winning.

Johan Cruyff Is Behind Guardiola's Deep Understanding Of Football

Pep Guardiola is one of the most successful coaches in football. His deep understanding of the game, made him coach his team's to play in a unique way to produce impressive results but Guardiola believes Cruyff's influence helped him grow.

Johan Cruyff was Guardiola's manager and Cruyff had brilliant ideas about how people should play the game. He thought his players to play in a brilliant attacking way and his knowledge rubbed off on Guardiola. Cruyff helped Guardiola develop his coaching skills by sharing his insights of the game with the Spanish tactician.

Guardiola met the Barcelona and Ajax legend, Johan Cruyff when he was 17 years. The big influence Cruyff had on Guardiola helped him become the coach he is today.

Manchester Evening News reports that, Pep Guardiola believes he would not be Manchester City manager today without Johan Cruyff.

Guardiola plays a brilliant attacking style that made him the most sought-after coach in the game but it was the brilliant ideas of Cruyff that helped Guardiola develop.

Pep Guardiola listened and understood the ideas of Cruyff and his understanding of the game shows Johan Cruyff's brilliance. With Guardiola winning multiple trophies at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, Johan Cruyff's lessons lives in Guardiola.

Sane Is Safe In Guardiola's Hands

Guardiola has a history of bringing out the best in young players. He is a coach with clear long-term plans to make players reach their true potential. One of his best works was his impact in one of the World best players, Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi had so much potential to dominate World football but he injured a lot to reach the top. When Guardiola became the boss of Barcelona, he addressed Messi's challenges. He changed Messi's diet and stopped him from spending late nights watching football. He also changed his role and made Messi play more part in the team's build-up plays.

The transformation was impressive and Messi won the Ballon d’Or award many times. Guardiola helped other young talents like Pedro, Busquets and Pique become some of the World best players.

Manchester Evening News reports that, Joachim Low believes Manchester City Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is the ideal mentor for Leroy Sane.

Leroy Sane is one of Germany's highly rated youngsters and the exciting winger can become a top player in football. Sane can develop and succeed working under Guardiola.

With Guardiola's clear long-term plans to improve young players, Sane will work in a favourable environment to improve. Guardiola will create a competitive environment that will help Sane work hard to become a top quality player.

Guardiola likes his players having a good attitude and a healthy lifestyle. Sane can improve as a person and have a good attitude. Sane showed what he can offer Manchester City with the few appearances he made for the club. City fans can expect to see Sane develop into one of the top players in football as the promising winger spends time with the City manager in training and during games.

Stones Showed Courage Under Pressure Against Tottenham

When Guardiola signed John Stones, it seemed Guardiola spent too much money on a player who caused Everton to lose points last season.

Stones came under criticisms because of his style of play. He held the ball too long and dribbled when the team was under pressure.

Guardiola plays a possession-heavy style and Stones was an ideal player for him. Guardiola worked with Stones and he looked an improved player in most games he played for Manchester City.

During games, Guardiola took sometime to talk to Stones at the touch-line, showing there were things he wanted Stones to improve on.

In the game against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City played under intense pressure. Most City defenders did not cope with the pressure but it was different for Stones.

The young English defender showed courage under pressure. He held the ball and made it easier for City at the back. He stayed close to keeper and made the keeper have options to pass under pressure.

Stones helped the team build attacks despite the pressure from the hardworking Tottenham players. He dribbled out from the back and helped the team play in a fluid pattern.

The qualities of Stones that drew criticisms at Everton was what helped Stones cope under intense pressure. His style of play helped the City team stick to the manager's philosophy.

Stones showed maturity in the game against Tottenham Hotspur and he looks like a player who could lead Manchester City in the near future.

Definitely, it is one of the trusted forwards for the future. Guardiola believes City are still a work in progress, so we expect individual developments of the players.

For now, Nolito who is an experienced player to the philosophy of Guardiola will lead the left side of the attack but when Sane develop, I see him getting more time there.

Sane is a good player and will fit combining with the forwards because of his slick passes. Just like the pass he gave Kevin De Bruyne in the game against Manchester United, that De Bruyne shot on the bar.

His work rate is also high, so he will fit the trident.

When Aguero and Nolito are not playing, Sane and Iheanacho are the trusted players. They look promising.

i see..

Iheanacho fits into pep's philosophy..

He drops into the midfield sometimes.. Assumes that false 9 roles pep loves so much..

Meanwhile Aguero sits up front, a menace in the box, world class striker.. But not 100% pep fit..

Sane is technically gifted..

Nolito is Spanish..

Sterling is lighting up.. Alot..

Front three of sterling, Kelechi, and sane won't be bad at all If they do all pep asks and work very hard..

I hope to see that combination in fa cup matches or other tournaments..

Guardiola Learnt A Lot About Ball Playing Defenders From Koeman

Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola is a good friend of the Dutch Tactician who manages Everton, Ronald Koeman. Guardiola is grateful to Koeman for helping him when he was a youngster at Barcelona.

Guardiola learnt a lot about great ball playing defensive play from watching Ronald Koeman when he was a player at Barcelona.

Koeman's style of play was a big part of Barcelona's build-up plays. He was an important player to the team and played impressively against big teams.

Sky Sports reports that, Pep Guardiola revealed his debt of gratitude to Ronald Koeman as the pair prepare to do battle as managers on Saturday.

Guardiola expressed how he admired Leonardo Bonucci of Juventus and he made John Stones one of his major targets. This shows that Guardiola believes ball playing defenders are important to his possession-heavy philosophy. Stones was a player who came under criticisms for his ball playing style but Guardiola values his skills as an asset to the team.

Koeman motivated Guardiola on the field and he was also a big influence of Guardiola off the pitch and the Spanish tactician is glad he had a close relationship with such an exceptional person.

As the two friends unite today on the pitch, it is not as friends or team-mates. They both hope to take points from each other. After the game, they will go back to respecting each other.

English Teams Play More Games But They Are Not The Toughest Teams

There is so much talk of how teams in England are tougher to face than other teams in other countries. The harsh tackles and fast pace does not make them tougher than teams from other countries that approach the game differently.

At different times, we saw teams from different countries produce some amazing football. There are teams from Spain who on their day will beat any side from England.

Manchester Evening News reports that, Pep Guardiola dismissed the idea that Premier League football is more intense than Europe's other top leagues.

Not long ago, two German teams reached the Champions League finals. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Both teams had a wonderful campaign in the Champions League to get to that stage. Bayern Munich also played consistently in the Semi finals and finals of the Champions League.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid had good campaigns in recent years. These teams doing well in the Champions League shows that they are good sides who can beat any tough team they face.

Playing in England, with many games from the Capital One Cup, to the English Premier League and FA Cup, makes playing in England tedious. It does not mean they play with higher intensity than others.

City Players Were Brilliant Against Everton

After Tottenham Hotspur dominated and won Manchester City 2-0, we expected Guardiola to make some changes to how the team played. Guardiola made the changes and dropped Gundogan from a creative attack role to play deep. Most times, Gundogan worked with Fernandinho in front of the defenders.

Leroy Sane played brilliantly and caused the Everton defence problems. Iheanacho worked hard for the team. He made interceptions, dropped deep to help the team build-up plays.

The City defenders were impressive and it was nice to see Kompany come in as a late substitute. City players created a lot of scoring chances, pressed high and made it difficult for Everton to keep the ball.

Despite these, City did not win the game. The match ended 1-1. An unfair reflection of the game. Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne missed two penalty kicks. Kevin De Bruyne missed the first one in the first half. Aguero replaced Kelechi Iheanacho but when the chance came for Aguero to convert from the spot, he also failed.

Sky Sports reports that, Pep Guardiola hailed his Manchester City players as 'amazing' despite them missing two penalties and dropping points against Everton.

The result did not look good but the game play improved. The players showed they will work hard to win. They worked together as a team, attacking and defending together.

Despite losing, the Cityzens will know that the team showed improvement from the game against Tottenham Hotspur. If we keep playing this way, good results will come.
