A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons. The governor condemned the dastardly act in its entirety.
He vowed that those who pepertrated the heinous act will not go unpunished, adding his administration will not tolerate the wanton destruction of lives and property in the state by the herdsmen. The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled. The governor prayed for the repose of the seminarian and quick recovery of the survivors.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Dr. C.V.C Onaga who visited the grief-stricken community, also condemned the attack and expressed sadness over the incident. He prayed for peace and unity of the country, calling for a permanent solution to the menace of the herdsmen in the country.

The governor has summoned an emergency meeting with the security agencies and Fulani community in the state today at the Government House, Enugu.

Ok,

"The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled." Useless propaganda angry angry angry

Anyway, he needs to improve the security of his communities, light up the towns, tar the streets and improve the livelihood of its people.
With such actions, the herdsmen can be restricted from certain areas of the communities both at night and day.
Set up community vigilantes and empower the police to "storm the herdsmen settlement" in the future.

The people of Enugu are pathetic. If they don't get rid of this useless Governor, then they should shutup and bury their dead. It is Ugwanyi's fault and no other. What use is he, if he can't lead a citizens revolt against the islamist government which wants to kill us all.

The red bolded, he is not angry enough. angry

The green bolded, just like he declared a three day fasting and prayer and there were changes in the security of the state bah!. undecided

The purple bolded, what happened with the last meeting in the first attack? Wasn't it supposedly said he called the security agents and was told all would be adhered to before we realised that they came to arrest 72 youths who mobilised for a reprisal; even bailing them with 200K each? angry

Finally, we will keep praying down east instead of finding solutions on how to arrest this monster of the killings by the herdsmen. Even the bible said "There is a time for everything. A time for peace and for war". We are in war. angry
