If we cannot catch up or even surpass countries like Indonesia at that time, then i don't think it is worth much celebration, cos even today Indonesia is not so much ahead of Nigeria economically, why should they give us a gap as high as $6 trillion in the future?

Exactly, if we can go back to the regional system when we were amongst the fastest growing economies in the world then without oil.
Let the regions control things more and not depend much on oil, you would see even sokoto people would discover their talents and little resources to survive and move ahead.
Unfortunately the oil money enjoyed by the elites might be the reason they don't wanna restructure.
