Suit Challenging Buhari’s Appointment Of Hameed Ali As Customs Boss Struck Out by sharpden: 1:04pm On Sep 16, 2016

A suit challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of Hameed Ali as the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service, has been struck out by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Justice Sale Hassan said the court lacked jurisdiction on the matter.

The case was filed, in November 2015, by a human rights lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa. Mr. Adegoruwa challenged the appointment of Mr. Ali, a retired Colonel, as Customs chief saying Nigerian laws were violated in the process.

No one can challenge the president's constitutional right to appoint anyone he deems fit into any position, with deference to all existing laws of course. Those lawyers must have known this but mischievously decided to sue anyway

so every appointment should be from his tribe? black man hart is full of evil u dont see anything wrong in buhari's appointments wright? I will like to be a minority in white's man country than been in a country of 200million all of them black, look at nigeria we know what is causing problem in nigeria and we pretend like we dont know kano state 44 LGA northern state 19 states and we keep preaching equity 80% of oil well in niger delta is owned by the northerners giving to them by thier brothers in power
