It is very unfortunate that people are still having this kind of mentality in Nigeria. I remembered vividly in the 70s and 80s Nigerians regard anybody going abroad for studies as dullard who could not pass JAMB. Today the story is different. Today Foreign certificates are more acceptable than anything else. I also remembered when a friend graduated from University of PH and he was among the first graduates of that school. During an interview session he was asked what he has gone to such a school to do. Again, I remembered when private schools started in Nigeria, again people were calling them quack schools but today the story is different. I can assure any body who cares to listen that sooner or later anybody who think private university students are not of good quality and are more expensive and cannot be recognized outside Nigeria such a person will be disappointed. Nigerians generally speaking have this bad mentality about new things and at the end of the day everyone will embrace it. When China goods started coming into Nigeria people called it names, today everyone uses it. So I am not surprised about peoples comments about private universities.

Paul University is rich in lab facilities and student to lab ratio is very low. Students have easy access to lecturers and lab.
