Yoruba that can even practice ordinary primogeniture.where I can come to and use money to buy position of Alafin, ooni and alake.
Where ogboni and oyomesi can remove a so called king.
A king is supreme and have right over everybody but these ones are bought with money. That's why all the ooni are reach people because the real ooni are bought away with money.
Until we see the real ooni we won't believe.
The rituals these Yoruba people won't say is y each ooni keeps marrying a Benin wife? Because the Benin is in control and always have their sons and daughters there.

My dear KingOvoramwen1 , just like the brains washed Boko Haram bombers and members, these Yoruba people can't comprehend the truth so they would believe the old lie they know.

Please,I am not Benin nether am I Yoruba. There are somethings that gets me worried about this supremacy battle.
1. Why is Benin population not anything close to the Yoruba race if indeed they were long in existence before the Yoruba race
2. If the Yoruba race is claiming superiority, why was Benin kingdom and history better documented than the Yoruba kingdoms.

I am here to learn please. I don't mean any insult.

First the fact that Yorubas decided to born like rabbits or dogs shouldn't be the issue as they basically stuck Thier thing. And still stick it on anything they can find as there were no women with the founding founders and the women they met were enthralled by Thier wisdom and enlightenment, as such they had Thier way with them this bringing about the abrupt surge in numbers from prehistoric times

My next point is if oba was a Yoruba word and not coined from benin, why is the ooni not refered to as oba as a matter of history the oyo kingdom was the second strong hold of Yoruba land and the Alaffin who established that upon his return from benin kingdom ended up adopting certain aspects of the culture and when his children moved to continue Thier breeding the culture became more prevalent hence the upsurge or obas in Yoruba land

The benin kingdom stretched as far as the Ashanti region of Ghana where they till date mention benin in Thier history... It was during this expansion that the Yoruba populace came in contact with Thier long lost cousins who where fierce warriors and decisive negotiators.. Hence they called the head quarters of benin kingdom Ile ibinu land of vexation... Even till date it is generally said that anyone from the south south dey vex... When they are observed by Yorubas

Note I'm not a benin however I reside in benin and I have observed Thier culture and can consider these things as an avid history aficionado

Isoko/etsako/esan/Akoko edos/Yorubas/itsekiris/olukunmi all in d south south does not speak benin but speak more yorubas..that sud tell u many things alone.

The first four kings of d Olukunmi in d South south are yoruba namea..likewise d itsekiris.

Many of ur great grand fathers frm benin bear yoruba names..dat sud tell u their source too.

Yorubaland four times bigger than the South South yet have never seen a single yoruba man bearing benin name but is d other way round...why?

[b]How funny people embrace ignorance & still upholds it to their necks like a gold chain. If u claim the Yorubas give birth like rabbits, wahh will you say of the Hausas? You keep using that to justify why Benin is so small to the extent that even the least populated of the 3 major tribes/ethnic group are still more than d Benins.

Only a confident dullard will claim the world OBA belongs to the benin. irrespective of wahhh the present Yoruba monarchs are using. In short, hardly will u see a yoruba king using the word 0ba nowadays. They have all changed it to unique phrase that suits their kingdoms. You hear of Alakë of Egbaland, Olowu of owu, Alaperu of Iperu, Akarigbo of remo land. Even Wikipedia showed its a yoruba word.

As in, its just laughable, you hear Oba Nla, Oba Aye, blablablah and you are here writing episodes that doesn't just tally with facts, & plz spare me the I'm not a benin blablablah, I'm currently typing this from ringroad & have lived & still living in benin for quite some time....Lol

O ba in bini language means Red or Redish. As the Oba Royal attire is entirely made of red beads and clothes. Its also indicates the Awe of fear His title and authority depicts in his kingdom.

2) ODUDUWA CAME FROM BENIN AND ESTABLISED THE YORUBA RACE THUS YORUBA KINGS A CLEARY BADTARDS FROM THE BENIN ROYAL STOOL..

CASED CLOSED!!!!

You need to find out truth about people you know nothing about. What's Oduduwa? For your information there are several Oduduwas and Oranmiyans in Ife. These are titles just like Oosangan, Oisa, Olofin, Odofin, Owa, etc.

If you have taken your time to read Yoruba History, you will understand that an oral tradition of the people of Ife thousands of years before the arrival of another oduduwa from the East, held that Orunmila, Ogun, Obatala, Esu, etc came from above. These were the ancient founders of Ife, they were of Atlantis...
