They huff and puff and thrash and curse all day, hoping and praying and advising that the loan request shouldn't be granted by the NASS, yet still turn around to wail we weren't captured in blablabla on THESAME LOAN!!!

Farming season approaches, people ready their seedlings and farmlands while you do nothing but pray it NEVER rains- but then the heavens open and there's a downpour, you start wailing over why it didn't rain in your farmlands!!

Someone tell me- isn't this complete madness??

One of them in response to someone who asked "why isn't the North East captured" said "Abuja represents the North East"!! Now, why can't they see the South East being represented by Calabar in the South South in the same vain??

They always insist there is Nothing like a South South geographical location anywhere and say the places called South South belong to the South East- Now, they separate the two because it promotes their warped victim mentality and supports this volatile propaganda by this useless pro-iPod newspaper read only in their domain.

Shame.

wtf are you saying? Please let's not allow unnecessary hate becloud our reasoning. Is Taraba not NE, Abuja NC, Kano NW, Lagos SW, Calabar SS.

Now one region is conspicuously absent from this windfall and you see no problem with it because of the tribal bigots from that region when it is a fact that tribal bigotry permeates every nook and cranny of this country. Na wa oo..

Who cares! Useless 5percentile, let then go and die!
On a serious note, the main infrastructure deficit in the SE are roads, and almost all federal roads in the region are captured in the budget and are currently been repaired. There hasn't been a viable rail project to the region due to its location. Also no dam project is viable in the region. So don't expect PMB to do things just because of your wailing. You people should have learnt something, its same with appointments and projects, so long he's satisfied it's the best decision, he goes for it!
And there are projects like financing the budget, social interventions and agricultural projects with no specific region, meaning the SE will benefit from those. So its not like the region isn't benefiting anything from the money.
Anyway like I said, who cares?
yeah who cares? We igbos don't care. We are just letting you guys know why igbos are agitating for biafra. A loan of this magnitude but none of it will go to any federal project in the south east. When its time to repay the loan will the south east be exempted? And the answer is NO!. Nigeria can never move forward until the igbos take their rightful place. Anyways we all know this loan if granted will be embezzled. Na today?

Why is it that the only post you ever make is nothing but derogatory posts against non other than igbos?
Going by your tribal bigotry, you must be from strong shackles of poverty cos thats where such tribal hatred thrives?
If you are a bit objective(which you dont have) you will know that this loan will be repaid generations later and there wont be discrimination when collecting taxes and levies for its repayment so there shouldnt be discrimination in its usage.
And if you were a bit sensible(which you sold for hate),you would realize that this loan will be politically mismanaged and most of them wont be around for its repayment, thereby leaving your generation with debt deficit to repay.
I wouldnt expect you to know any better because you have deprived of the gift of rational thought process.

You see, ask around, I don't respond to people no more but just this time, I'd do you this rare favour which you've been dying for given how often you leap into my mentions.

Dr Martin Luther King once said: Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity

The problem with most of you from around there is that you hardly venture out of your immediate environments to explore the world around you, so you have this messed up notion only your kind exist in this world.

Times without number, I've advised that you guys try to mix with people beyond your locality and beyond the screens of whatever device you people use to type the crap you do and liberate yourself from this chronic ignorance that is threatening to make you appear like the first early men in the eyes of a greater population of inhabitants of this world.

This chronic ignorance is the reason why you believe Omenka is an exclusively iPod name.

Get some education and exposure and advice your brothers and sisters to do same- it wouldn't stop the sun from rising. Think about what they say about a stitch in time- it isn't too late.

this omenka is senseless. That your farming analysis makes no sense. Lets try mine. Everyone has farmlands to farm. The federal government distributes seeds to be planted on those farms. They distribute the seeds to everyone except one man. Now tell me what you expect that man to do. Let the distributors know he hasn't received any seeds just like everyone else or do you expect him to keep quiet?

Hypocrite. You lump S.E and S.S. when it suits you then jump to another thread or forum to argue that SE is different from SS. Ain't you one of the most vocal guys here who call SE landlocked or use the term 'expansionist' to describe them when they ally with people from Rivers and Calabar areas? Like Buhari, you'll brand certain people Igbos even when they've rejected that identity.

South East was built on the sweat and blood of the Igbos. It exists because of the toils of the indigenes.

There is nothing wrong in asking the government to execute projects in that region. I'd rather the govt get the roads and other transport networks like railways working than bother with govt appointments. Lots of regions can't function without govt appointments. SE can function without that as long as there is fairness and equity in distribution of amenities.

Business men from the east have to come to Lagos to clear their goods then face the perilous adventure of moving them down with corrupt police, army and even the custom and excise men competing to empty their pockets.

Must everything be politics to you guys, why can't fed govt get the railways working like it's done in most part of the world to ease transport. These people contribute a lot to revenue.

Not a lot of people depend on sending multiple CVs to businesses. To those who want to establish businesses, fed govt should encourage and support them by creating friendly environment...provide steady power.

Not everyone is ipob, lots of people down in the east despise that movement and it's wrong to tar everyone with the same brush.

Buhari was asked by journalists about Igbo 'marginalisation'...he replied that he appointed Igbo men in key positions while mentioning emefiele and amaechi.!! Amaechi I'm sure would not like to be identified as Igbo.

And as usual, afonjas are in supprt. Shortsighted folks who only remember southern unity nonsense when they get fed the same shitt.
no wahala.
As for buhari, well, there is nothing else to say that has not been said. The center of commerce and home-grown industry should be probably the critical investment priority in any other sane government any where else in the world. And the South east is where it is at. The SE is the most critical to Nigeria's economic well-being and future prosperity if Nigeria ever hopes to become a developed nation. It is more important than most parts of Nigeria especially in the north, and you don't play politics with development.
Buhari is not sane anyway, so i am not surprised. He is not cerebral enough to use the monies well anyway, so that is a consolation.
Let him go and give his borrowed monies to deserts and oligarchies in the North.
