What I do not understand here is that this guy had a radio station that was speaking against the government. Does that make it TREASON? Maybe there are other things he must have done that I am not aware of. SHEKAU the Boko Haram leader who was caught sometime ago and later claimed to have escaped when we know he was released. He was not charged for TREASON. A man who took up arms against Nigeria, killed innocent people and took over some local government in Bornu State was not charged for TREASON. Is it because KANU is from a minority area? What a funny country. 1 Like |

Whytelyon: It does appear from your response that you condone, or tacitly support Kanu's hate rhetoric. And there are several examples littered all through history, of how hate mongering, and verbal attacks have led to altercations and clashes with disastrous consequences, for all those involved. So should the govt wait until Kanu's supporters start carrying arms, before something gets done? . Please listen to Radio Biafra and the expletives launched against other ethnic groups, and you would realise what a divisive, vitriolic tool Kanu has created to achieve his ambitions. If other ethnic groups were to respond in kind to Kanu's vitriol, what do you think would be the end result? Yes, his supporters have not carried arms yet, but they have been inflamed by his mindless rhetoric to conduct protest marches which has cost some of them their lives. There are records of Kanu visiting the US to solicit for arms, from South-Eastern people in diaspora. And he solicited for their help, in order to take up arms against the Nigerian state. Please check the meaning of 'sedition,' and ask any legal practitioner if Kanu does not have a case to answer. In law, sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority. As for El-Zakzaky, I believe he should be arraigned in court as soon as possible, and prosecuted for his actions. Keeping him in jail only prolongs the matter, and does not create any long-term solutions. If you ask law-abiding northerners what they think of El-Zakzaky, you would discover that many of them do not have any sympathy for his current travails. He has brainwashed his followers to confront and oppose govt at every turn, and continuously flout even the most basic security rules of the state. And if a sect continuously breaks the laws with impunity, do they expect govt agencies to turn the other cheek always? Once peace, law and order are continually flouted by a sect, their actions would breed anarchy. Every govt has a duty to enforce law, order, peace & security. Flout the law if you wish, but please be ready to pay the price no matter how difficult and taxing, it may be. Am out. A Chieftain of Gyellesu community, Malam Mu’izzu Daruddeen recently said, Zazzau Emirate is now safe and conducive without Sheik Ibrahim El-zakzaky. He said, the ancient city and its environs had recorded “sudden positive change” in its day-to-day activities. |

Well, who wouldn't support the biafrans. The one sided mentality your leader brought upon us is affecting me, don't get cross And El zakzaky, like I asked what's his crime? In Islam there are 2 major sects, Sunni and Shia. Sunni has been in control,no one is complaining, the Shia do not feel comfortable with the Sunni and hence they don't accept most sordid principles, the caliph and the rest, now Sunni sees them as well as kwhariji as demon worshippers. Question is, if you have an issue to resolve with religion, why not resolve it amicably As a leader And don't bring Quranic fulfilment of who's devil worshipper or not? Who religion don help? I don't hate buhari, his actions make me hate him every day. There isn't a day that goes that we wouldn't hear a thing or two about muslims - not positive stories. Who over religion don help? Now I close again with this. The Shia are muslims like Sunni muslims, they should practise what they believe in. Cos I know if Sunni islam succeeds in Nigeria the Christians would be next on line for attack. That's what I have been hammering on. Quranic Obligation should die away at this time. Shia or not,let them practise what they believe in,unless the Sunni muslims have something else to hide. Release Nnamdi Kanu and El Zakzaky. I'm a christian from the ibo tribe mind you. laudate: |

Whytelyon: Who wouldn't support the Biafrans? Why don't you tell me? So far their South-Eastern legislators, ministers, top govt officials, industrialists and top businessmen havwe declined to show any open support for their cause. Go figure! Whytelyon: Obviously you did not read the report from The Nation quoted in my last post where a leading community leader expressed the frustrations of his people at the antics of El-Zakzaky's sect. Please go back and read it with an open mind, because the man was simply expressing the feelings of his people at how the actions of El-Zakzaky's sect had led to the break down of law, peace, order and security in their northern community. His incarceration was not based on religion. His followers were not praying peacefully in a mosque somewhere, when they were arrested. Finally, bros your ethnic group is not the subject of discussion but Nnamdi Kanu's antics and El-Zakzaky's wanton disregard for law & order. |
Re: Nnamdi Kanu Raises Hands In Court After His Bail Hearing Was Adjourned. by Whytelyon(m): 3:06pm On Nov 18, 2016 |
For the Biafra, I'd check. Now let's get to El zakzaky, I see the issue as antics used to send the man to prison. Let me ask you,the official you talking about here must be Muslim, and the majority religion or rather religious party in terms of Islam is the Sunni muslims go figure. I'd like you in detail to prove how the Shia muslims in your area have jumped a law or two. Pls in detail expanciate. Now Nnamdi Kanu isn't obviously happy with how his people are treated, for him to be this die hard, wouldn't you think he has a backing? It's quite obvious this man is getting Biafra from the way I see it.... that's from the way I see it o.. and show me how Nnamdi Kanu disregard law and order. I seriously wonder when you decide to kill people and not live with them, the man decides to oppose and be like "we want our own republic " I don't see it as an offence na. laudate: |

Whytelyon: Sir, a response to all your questions above has been provided in all my previous replies to you. It is unclear why you have chosen to disregard them. Instead you keep repeating the same questions over and over again, using different words. El-Zakzaky's issue has everything to do with his continuous contempt for the authorities, incessant security breaches, wilful disregard for law and order, harbouring criminal elements amongst his sect members, and unleashing mayhem within his community. But please do not take my word for it, you can Google up other reports that have been made against his sect. Complaints launched against him, have very little to do with the fact that El-Zakzaky is a Shi'ite muslim or a Sunni. If you have proof of his innocence, kindly forward it to the appropriate authorities. It is NOT my call to prove how Shia muslims have breached the law. Ask those who were at the receiving end. Once El-Zakzaky gets his day in court, all his actions will be laid bare. I am not against Kanu getting his Biafra, what I abhor are his repeated calls for violence and the vitriolic slurs and bile he unleashes against other ethnic groups, in his quest to form his new republic. In the 21st Century, there are far more peaceful ways of achieving his objective. He can start by lobbying all the SE legislators to raise the issue in the house, and then get them to withdraw their services from the red & green chambers, (i.e. Senate & House of Reps) as a prelude to achieving his aim. I assure you, the whole country would sit up. Anyone like Kanu who is capable of spreading such hateful divisive rhetoric, deserves whatever comes his way. 2 Likes |
