When dealing with an uncivilised person, one has to be uncivil too. You don't expect Sani to sit all nice and pretty while The midget takes the high road, that ship has sailed. The rate of crime in KD now is alarming and all Rufai is doing is picking battles that aren't worth fighting. What a senseless man

Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central, says his suspension by the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not increase the “physical height” of Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, whom he has identified as the mastermind.

Sani had earlier been handed a 11-month suspension that elapsed on Tuesday.

In a letter addressed to him, Tudun Wada, secretary of the party in Kaduna, said the earlier suspension was to enable the senator defend himself against allegations levelled against him.

Wada said since Sani failed to do so, he had been suspended indefinitely.

In his reaction, the lawmaker accused the APC in Kaduna of acting on the orders of el-Rufai.

“My ‘indefinite suspension’ by Governor Nasiru el-Rufai- controlled, self-acclaimed APC excos is as worthless and as useless as the paper it was written upon,” he said in a statement.

“I wish to fully assure them the new suspension will not give them the public support they couldn’t gather with the first one.

“For a man who has been unable to address the pervasive insecurity and genocide in southern Kaduna, for a man who has been unable to stem the tide of rampant kidnapping and abductions in Kaduna, suspending Shehu sani cannot be counted as an achievement.

“Mr. Governor, my suspension will not increase your physical height nor give you the flesh or muscle of a macho.”

Sani added that el-Rufai “remains a typical establishment man, who was brought to limelight by the PDP, nurtured by the PDP, and no broom or deodorant of change can give him a new identity”.

He vowed to continue working for the masses and to always defend their interest.

The fight between Senator Shehu Sani and Governor Nasir El-Rufai is getting out of hand. For starters, I really don't understand the reason for a 'renewal' of the Senator's suspension. APC Kaduna was collectively built by these men and others who though are not holding any political position, seem to have also fallen out with the government.
I reached out in my little way to the Senator and also to Samuel Aruwan the media aid of the Governor on why this crisis or disagreement should not degenerate to the level it has, it is apparent these men are not ready to sheath the sword.
This crises may signal the end of APC in Kaduna. People are already praising and calling on Ramalan Yero to come back. Besides, the Senator is being courted by other parties and individuals. If you undermine Shehu Sani, you may be doing so at your own peril. I hasten to plead for a moratorium on the ongoing crises. I read the Senator's response today, and I saw a man angry by the endless frustrations, although I think think went too far. The energy being dissipated on this issues usually fuelled by aides and other do-gooders can be transformed in productive ventures.
