It seems Nigeria and Lagos are moving in opposite directions. One is retrogressing terribly while the other is progressing rapidly.
Also, this is a testament to the fact that we need a well decentralized policing system
Finally, pls what are other APC governors doing? Especially that pathetic old fool in Oyo state. He's just lost and clueless. Very useless

Theres always going to be funds for police welfare and equipment via the Lagos state security trust fund and insurance scheme crated by Fashoda.

Ambode is still scratching the surface when in fact he should by now be digging and coming up with major, groundbreaking and visionary projects like this predecessors..

2 years later, we still don't have a single major Ambode visionary project or projects. He's very very behind when it comes to his predecessors especially considering the fact that ambode is working well over N200 billion more than Fashola's largest budget and N 400 billion more next year.

Lagos Metro should be prioritized and 4th mainland bridge should be off the ground by now..

Yea, I heard the story too. A fund was released for the project too but it went south and the House then, subjected the issue to a probe.

No need to compare both. It still hurts what Ambode did to Fash in the begining of his tenure but hey, both parties have moved on from it.

What I posted has nothing to do with election or Fashola Vs Ambode, it was based on solid performance and what he really should be doing or have been doing instead of cosmetics here and there.

It's almost 2 years and we still don't have any serious or visionary work on his part, we are talking about a very rich state with the largest operating state budget in West Africa, even his 2017 budget is twice more than Fashola's largest budget.

Donating stuff and caring for the police command in Lagos state is of course a good thing, but we need strong direction and clear signals where and what his priorities are regarding the future of Lagos sate..

His predecessor at the same time was commissioning multiple projects from hospitals to water works, power plant, schools, roads, bridges and so on, but Ambode is yet to move beyond donating to police and bad and hurriedly done roads.
