Rivers Rerun Election: APC leading

Some result from the Rivers State South-East Senatorial District shows that the All Progressives Congress is leading in the area.

Hon. Friday Nkeeh has been declared winner of Rivers State House of Assembly seat for Khana Constituency 2.

Nkeeh pulled 15,000 votes to defeat Dinebari Loolo of the PDP who scored 4,000 votes.

For House of Representatives, Hon. Maurice Pronen of the APC scored 68219 votes while Dum Deekor of the PDP scored 20329 votes for Khana/Gokana constituency.

Prof. G.G Osuagu of Michael Opara University is the returning officer for Khana Local Govt.

Dr Innocent Barikor of APC has been declared winner of the election with 24,624 votes in Gokana, state constituency.

Dr Barry Mpigi Of APC declared winner of Tai/Oyigbo/Eleme federal constituency
APC. ……48,760 VOTES
PDP. ………..11,737 VOTES

There was not were in the judgement that directed inec to conduct fresh elections... It only said that the result of the election should come from the rerun which march election was also a rerun.. So add the two rerun together and do the maths

The senator scored 125,938 votes, while his closest rival, Mr. Nyesom Wiked scored 25,394 votes. To God Be The Glory! Jubilation everywhere in Ogoniland....

During the 2015 presidential and governorship elections, the PDP just wanted to disgrace former Governor Rotimi Amaechi by making sure his party the APC did not get one quarter of the votes which I think was actually what he wanted especially at the presidential. That does not mean the PDP couldn't have won fair and square without rigging. It is just like expectingly Jonathan to have won Katsina or Kano. BTW, I thought this is a 'change' government. So when you are at the receiving end, you wail about injustice. But when your party is there, you do worse. Politicians and their fanatical supporters!

I don't know. Assuming they did. The best way to have proven whether the party actually won the elections or not should be to allow for free and fair election. But I understand. Most of us are partisan. So the truth is relative to us. I fear for one party system which is not good enough for our country.
