No it's not poisonous. I've come across so many people who have been eating monitor lizards right from small and they're still hale, healthy, robust and fresh than you will ever be. grin

I wonder o, I am tired of reading comments from all this conserve wildlife crew, something had been coming to my compound killing my chickens and other domestic animals and I was fortunate to kill it and these people some of whom had never left the shores of this country will be saying trash. These set of people will also ask me to conserve rats disturbing me in my house
