Gloom enveloped Enugu State yesterday as the news of the death of the ‘acting’ National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ozo Nwabueze Okafor, filtered into town. He died yesterday morning during a brief illness at the age of 47.

Circumstances surrounding the demise of the young politician, who was a two-term chairman of Enugu South Local Council, were still sketchy as at press time. He was, however, reported to have died in Enugu.

His bosom friend and former House of Representative member for Enugu North and South, Offor Chukwuegbo, who confirmed the incident, said it was a “sudden one”, adding that he was still shocked over the development.


“It is unbelievable because he has been a vibrant young man. He suddenly became ill and was rushed to the hospital where he died,” the erstwhile federal lawmaker stated.

Okafor became APGA’s ‘acting’ chair following the alleged removal from office of Chief Victor Oye in October last year by the members of the National Working Committee (NWC), a case that is still before the Federal High Court, Abuja.

But, Nigerian will never forget him for his 3rd term agenda.
Nigerian will never forget President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, he is the only President who did not increase, rather he reduced the pump price from #75 to #65(may his soul rest in peace.

Nigerian will never forget President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for Bokoharam and for the free and fair elections during his reign.
Also promotion and practice of true democracy.
Under his watch of Goodluck Jonathan administration, the APC was registered by INEC as a mega opposition party.
This would have been unthinkable some years back and conduct a free and fair elections in the country which cannot happen under Obasanjo administration.
And there was evident in the number of governorship elections that have been won both at the polls and in the court by opposition parties during Jonathan reign.
Nigerian will never forget President Buhari for his back to back economy recession in 1983/85 and again in 2016...... We pray God that it won't end up in famine.
Inflicting hardship on Nigerian in the guise of fighting corruption. Fulani herdsmen, killing of innocent soul in Kaduna, Enugun and other State. Nigerian will never forget Buhari for the hunger, starvation, losing jobs, hike tariff, banned of rice but import of grass for the cows, what a wicked President Nigeria ever had.
Crippled our economy within 20 months in office due to his unrealistic and foolish policies.
Buhari need to reverse back some of his policy or else Nigerian will stone him at last.
