Former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani , on Sunday joined the All Progressives Congress .
Nnamani was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party .
The former Senate President, who is currently the head of the Electoral Reform Committee set up by President Muhammadu Buhari , registered as a member of the APC at his country home in Amechi - Uwani , in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The development followed the commencement of the party ’ s re-registration exercise in Enugu State and other parts of the South- East.
THE PUNCH had , earlier, exclusively reported that the APC in the South- East was embarking on a fresh registration exercise, following the crash of the party ’ s database in the zone , which led to the disappearance of records of registered members.
Nnamani ’s registration was witnessed by some leaders of the party in the zone , including Vice Chairman, South-East, Chief Emma Eneukwu, Director General of Voice of Nigeria , Mr. Osita Okechukwu, chairman of Enugu State chapter of the party , Dr. Ben Nwoye , and the chairman of the registration committee, Rev. Tony Ibeabuchi.
A broom was presented to the former Senate President after he registered as a member of the APC .

I am yet to meet a Nigeria Politician has his own political ideas and values. They all want to be with the winning team. No effective opposition is one of the things killing our Politics.

Let's say a new party is formed and takes over power from APC, next thing you know, the usual guys are flocking to that party.

Most Nigerians are completely mindless. What ideology instigated them to initiate the membership of a political party? These so-called politicians remain the reason Nigeria is cesspit.

Lol, yorubas only hope of survival is total exclusion of igbos, they can compete. I am enjoying this defection. where will yorubas run to now. Buhari the brainless is made messiah so that yolubas can enjoy what they don't deserve. Now that they now have igbos to contend with in APC they will run back to regional and tribal enclave they are known for. Igbos are strongly in APC now, meanwhile Buhari is still an dullard and will never have our support, but yoruba taking advantage of that will not be ignored anymore. Igbos strongly in PDP and APC.
