oyinkinola:Why do i always see people talking about Pdp & 16years mismanagement? Was Nigeria economy good b/4 PDP took over the government in 1999? Did n't Obj do some work to get us on track to some extent? The Op listed the achievement and failures of every asministration. So what stop PMB from doing his own part? You mean we will keep on hearing "fighting corruption" till his 4yrs elapse? He won't do anything againg other than blaming the past administration. Common Nigerians lets be honest and call spade a spade otherwise we will keep suffering while are up there enjoying. |

Re: The Sorry State Of Nigeria Under President Muhammadu Buhari by Nobody: 9:32am On Feb 17, 2017 |
oyinkinola:Bros me i never hated anyone, and i always support whatever PMB does to better Nigeria, but im yet to see any single achievement of PMB. He can be working and still be fighting his corruption. I want to see all recovered loots being use but all i saw is they are looted again in their so called budget of corruption by the people surrounding him. PMB should wake up and know that all those politicians and the same pdp that he claim destroyed Nigeria and keep his eye open on them. |

TonyeBarcanista: He relieved her you say? After how many months? Maybe Buhari is also waiting for about a year to pass by before relieving his SGF. Was Aruma Otteh relieved despite the allegations? Was Diezani relieved? Maybe you need to read about how OBJ sacked Tafa Balogun, Prof Fabian Osuji, Chief Sunday Afolabi, to know the difference between relieving a corrupt minister/appointee of their office, not about a year later on another unrelated matter. Even Stella Oduah would proudly tell you she was not laId off on any corruption allegation or indictment. The president simply just reshuffled his cabinet and dropped her long after the BMW that was never seen, long after her fake academic qualifications issue that had her quickly editing her previous academic profile. Lastly, who was relieved of corruption and still became a senatorial candidate of the party of the same ruling government and regime that "terminated" their appointment due to corruption? Who was relieved of corruption and never had a criminal prosecution against him/her on that matter? Answer is Stella Oduah, because she was never relieved of office owing to corruption. Please don't piss on me and tell me it is raining. |

oyinkinola:u re contradicting yourself. But if I may understand d points u re trying to make. But Obasanjo never complained that his 8yrs was not enough to clean up the mess of 35yrs military rule. U should read the Op again comprehensively. People like Ganduje of Kano, El Rufai of Kaduna, Wike of Rivers, Tambuwal of Sokoto, Ambode of Lagos re all in their 2yrs, yet there re not lamenting, rather they are putting mercenaries in place to drive their states forward. Statistics don't lie, read the article again and compare the GDP, foreign reserve, growth rate Obj inherited from the military and what he left it with, Yar and GEJ continued in the same direction, though GEJ reduced the reserve below what he met due to the fact that he yielded to d governors demands. PMB met about $30billion far higher than what Obj met. He made a budget with oil bench mark of $30 per barrel, yet the barrel hv been appreciating to his advantage, he removed subsidy from petrol and gasoline, he recovered some looted funds, he blocked leakages with the introduction of single treasury acct, yet he hv nothing to show for all these parameters that re in his favour. Rather, we re being plunged into recession, massive job loss, companies folding up, high inflation rate, low standards of living, massive depression and suicidal thoughts among the citizens, negative economic growth, no infrastructure. The 2016 alleged budget of CHANGE hv gone with no significance, it was not even implemented up to 50%. Where are the thousand housing units in the budget, where re the railways in the budget. Admit that buhari z clueless, he lacked the Economics intuition, he don't even understand the terminologies of economics, he don't even know what is rule of law, separation of powers etc. That's y it's good to be educated. There is a different between being educated and being a literate. Buhari z a literate that z fortunate to be elevated to the brim of power. Note that I voted for this man with hope that he z going to move Nigeria forward with his campaign promises. And nw my friends make mockery of me whenever we argue politics, cuz I hv absolutely nothing to justify to them that the govt z working. His attitudes so far hv vindicated his critics prior to 2015 gen elections. 2 Likes 1 Share |

chisco82:...you do hate PMB! if not, can you compare your investment with Dagote's? why? through out 16 years of pdp the oil price ever fall below $50! and the productivity was never fall below 1,500,000 barels per day! with all these , Nigerian no know peace!, $1trillion unaccounted for! you may not better at everything and if at all you better at some you may not always lucky! if Buhari manage to sanitize our institutions and bring the lost peace back, all Nigerian should praise him! learn to love truth! |

oyinkinola: I Hate PMB? Your personal opinoin. I'm not going to compare anything because if i do, for sure everyone will have a pass mark in atleast one area. I will only ask you one achievement of PMB since 2yrs. Is it not a shame to us that after 2yrs in the office with all budget allocation to the health sector that Mr president could not even get even aso rock clinic to a standard not to talk of Abuja national hospital. He still embarks on medical trip abroad? What is he going to tell the people there, that the hospitals in his country is not well equipt or that he could n't get them well equipt? 1 Like |

donJ2: Oby Ezekwesili sounded the alarm bell in 2013: “Our reserve is depleted and our savings are squandered. Our nation is in trouble.” She later stated: “The key FACT is that even by the time of that crisis when Soludo had to defend the Naira with our Foreign Reserve, he spent about $15b of it and still left behind about $45b when he departed as Central Bank Governor in 2009!!! Now imagine that since that time oil prices have averaged between $95-$100 per barrel and we export an average of 750 million barrels per annum. How then can the Foreign Reserve only now be starting to grow back to the same size it was in 2009 after such hefty earnings of the last 4 years? The FG numbers do not add up at all and we need to know why! The citizens need an explanation and that’s why I called for accountability. It is simply a patriotic call which should not result in the name calling by officials of government." Hey bro just wanted to add, $15B was used to defend the naira so people can afford to get it cheap and as such it affects what people imported then unlike now that no cent is defending the naira which will impact on what is imported. Don't be too fast to reply just because you hate the man in the helms of affair. We all go to the same market with the thieves. One love! |

chisco82:...ok is there any acheivement above peace, No peace no development isn't it? ...with corruption there is no development, right? what acheivement do you expect more than this in just two years? should we be lucky to have hike price of oil today with the programm this government put in place, we are gone. |
