The law is clear, communities where these alledged burning has been carried out can sue the Federal Government of which the Navy is a part for polution and also call for environmental remediation. You cannot use an illegal means to achieve a legal end. |

fm7070:Glad you see it this way. It's been like that for years. Serious re-orientation is needed in the military parastatals, as it appears the masses are more educated and exposed to what happens in other countries than them. Unfortunately, they believe their approach is right, but the masses say otherwise. |

The is not d first time black soot will cover PH. They have told those guys who are into illegal refineries to stop it but they refused to stop. It does more harm to the environment than the quick money they are getting from it. Its crude method and it is not controlled. They can not start a cause and not get the consequences. Prevention they say is better than cure. zionmade: |

I have said this over and over again. FG should come up with better ways to punishing such culprits. Burning apart from health hazards, also contributes to global warming. The oil found could be taken to where it will be properly refined instead of burning. |
