I have not said anything about Trump breaking the law, i said he wouldn't release his tax returns or put his business in a blind trust because he plans to use his position as President to make money and that is what he is doing starting with his private club.

You attacked his credibility yet he hasn't broken any laws. You are worse than CNN!

No need to sugar coat it. If a business files bankruptcy, it means it is cash flow negative. It is not running a profit. Shikena. Let's stop making someone look smart because he used bankruptcy laws to his advantage. When a business files bankruptcy, a lot of people lose money, contractors don't get paid etc. Someone did this 4 times and people make it seem like it is okay.

You know nothing about running a business and I doubt you have ever worked for a Fortune 500 company before. The Casinos operated for many years, if they ran on hard times and decided to file for bankruptcies it was because profits were shrinking and they saw no way out of their contractual agreements, this is business. They used the law of the land and there is nothing wrong in that. Once again you chose to focus on the 6 bankruptcies instead of looking at the bigger picture, if he was such a failure, he would be a dead-beat by now. 300 businesses and counting, you can only pray to be half as successful.

Can't lay my hands regarding his response to those central park five, i think it was handle during electioneering and properly done even though much emphasises can't be placed on it, however, the justice system treated fairly with it. For Obama's birther issues, that was purely election schemes. Trump had a taste of it as well.
Believe whatever you want and you wonder why over 90% of American blacks voted against him. It's because we know him better than you.

Oh! is that were your anger is coming from?...Obama doesn't need to do well for naija, but he needed to deliver for America, and go and check #TRUEFACTS, not alternative conspiracy theory like typical trumpsters, Obama's rating as America's president is high up there, a lot of them are begging him to come back now, because presently the Dumb Orange Man is producing Night mare, it's the worst start to presidency ever, every move is a gaffe, US and the world will never be the same again for this singular slip.

I hate to disappoint you, the CNN polls you posted is about the State of The Union speech he gave on Tuesday and that has got nothing to do with how he will govern. So far he's a big failure. Every President gives a good State of the Union speech written for them by Speech writers. It is clear Trump is in turmoil with the Russian scandal.

And CNN has lost all credibility. They have turned themselves into an opposition party. So shameful to see one of the most respected news organizations descend so low to be this biased and clearly twisting stories to favour Hillary Clinton and the democrats. No balance, No integrity. CNN has become "Fake News"

There's a difference between morality and legality. Credibility is mostly based on morality not legality that's the reason why companies/ business ask for references not police reports.

I'm sorry this is highly inaccurate, here in the US companies run a background check meaning if all your references are good and you fail the background test you will not be employed. Credibility is a mixture of legality plus ethics. You don't have to have high morals to survive in the business world, just ethics and regards for the law. This is why CEOs and VPs are ethically bound to the stakeholders but not morally bound. Nice try but you analogy fails again!

Video of Trumping claiming the American GDP was 0....Good thing is you can't call this fake news. I'm sorry but anybody who can boldly state the GDP of a country is 0 has no credibility.

Mr Trump also claimed he won the election by the biggest margin which was proved false on live TV.... So while Trump might not have committed any crime, every smart individual knows that its wise to double check anything that comes out of the mouth of Trump. How can you be credible when i can't take you for your words?

Talk about double standards, so who is credible? Obama? Obama that assured everyone they can keep their doctors when Obamacare rolls out, please leave credibility out of politics, it's all a show! Trump is a lot smarter than you, do you want to know why? He's playing towards his base in order to get them riled up. He needs to paint a picture of the economy as gloom so that his accomplishments would not be seen as mediocre or just the norm. It's a tactic many businessmen and politicians use. When he said 0, he was referring to percentage of growth in last quarter even though the number is closer to 1.6% but still economist agree that a growth of less than 3% is bad for the USA. As far as his victory goes he is an entertainer, it's all part of the show. So relax, those of us that voted for him have full confidence in him. See Trump is not foolish, he knows that a strong USA means businesses including his own will continue to grow. This is the benefit of having a business minded person in the Oval office. Trump might not fulfill all his promises but he'll accomplish over 50%, that is a lot more than Obummer!

I think once you're able to look beyond the hysteria, how animated Trump gets that makes him look like a clown, how raw he's with everything he says, the demographic that support him, and how xenophobic some of the EOs he signed might be - I don't think he has been as bad as publicised by the mainstream media.

Politics is about interests and it seems a lot of black people tend to focus too much on intersectionality, trying to be the face of all struggles - rather than focusing on issues that the deal with black people. One thing TrumpF has shown thus far is that: he's willing to listen and have conversation with black people, regardless of how hawkish his approach might be. And that was something Obama never did and Hillary Clinton would've never done. Pre-Trump, you had a political dynamic in the US that focused mainly on immigration (Hispanics/Latinos), LGBTQ groups, and women - with blacks who're the original minorities and the most maligned group placed at bottom, when it comes to those whose plights need to be at the front-burner. The liberals made immigration and Hispanics the most important group, while making LGBTQ group the most maligned one. And that should never be the case.

Also, when it comes to foreign policy - he has also been pretty decent, regardless of what anyone says. The first few months of Obama's administration saw a lot of UAV bombings in the different countries. However, Trump hasn't really attacked any country, apart from posturing on what he'll and won't do. That should also be lauded.

He's also trying to create avenues for a lot of US companies to start employing Americans, rather than looking for free cheap labour in other countries.

Evidently, overall, the man hasn't been bad. A lot of folks just tend to follow the popular narrative of liberals who control most news outlets.

1) it's hard to compare Obama's term with Trump because the conditions are different. Obama inherited an almost dead economy with two wars, Trump inherits a wonderful economy with the US not actively in any war.
2) That part of employing Americans with protectionism is gone. Technology has made that almost impossible. Obama spoke with Steve Jobs about making the iPhones in the US and Steve Jobs told Obama those jobs are gone forever. A mid level software engineer in the US would earn an average of say 50k per year, with that money you can hire 3 Nigerians engineers. Also if your jobs require protectionism, you will be replaced by a robot pretty soon.
3) Obama deported more people than any US president but did you hear folks make noise, Obama understand diplomacy Trump doesn't and that would be his biggest problem. As CEO, he could hire and fire at will, as President, you need to be big on diplomacy.

Trump needs to understand that America is not a business..... The government is supposed to protect the weakest ........

Trump needs to understand that America is not a business..... The government is supposed to protect the weakest ........

- The government Trump inherited might even be worse than the one Obama inherited. The US is still actively involved in wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Then you've Syria, Yemen, and the new tensions brewing in the pacific in China. And US' debt to GDP ratio is at the worst it has ever been in a very long time. I think the only difference is that there was hysteria back then due to anxiety. However, now, the people are used to it. But that doesn't negate anything.

- Don't focus on IT which is skilled sector cos only a few people per population are in the field. Focus on the semi-skilled and unskilled sectors - especially the manufacturing and production. Majority of working aged yanks don't have college degrees (I think over 60% of them) and a lot of them need jobs. That's where middle America comes in.

- I don't think that has to do with diplomacy. It's just a case of two individuals with different approaches. Obama was cunning and he operated in a cunning way, hence he was able to win and his whole campaign was about selling dream/hope. While Trump won cos he's hawkish/raw and he has continued to act that way cos that's what got him there and endeared him to the demographics that voted for him.

Well, the weakest in America are the poor people in middle America whose jobs have been shipped out of the country, for crack cocaine, heroin, pills, guns, and violence - with cities in ruins (e.g. Detroit). And the black folks who have been disenfranchised from the slavery days, to successive inhumane oppression, injustices, racism, and white supremacy. Those are the weakest and the folks that need to be protected - not Muslims, Hispanics, and other lousy groups. It's always about interests and the guy has been decent thus far.

The problem with middle America is technology is taking their jobs e.g the coal workers, while Trump claims the liberals environmental policies took away coal jobs, the reality is that those jobs went because of shale gas... It's the same thing in manufacturing, a robot replaces human workers and then you need highly specialised humans to manage those robots.

Trumps election is similar to Buhari's in the sense that they said what the disenfranchised folks wanted to hear, but we've seen Buhari's reality, Trump and the GOP also know taking Obama care apart isn't as easy as they thought it would be.
It's going to be the same for Trump in all sectors of the country. Being President is a whole lot different from being CEO, and Trump is yet to adjust to the reality.

Therein lies your problem. You can't use abuses to deceive people. You make it sound like he filed chapter 11 to prevent folding up like he had a choice. The company was in HUGE debt. Chapter 11 was a way of reducing personal liabilities so stop saying it like it was a good thing. What happened to the company after? For those who care, here is the timeline of your so called genius bankruptcies. A record of bad decisions.

Bankruptcy No. 1: The Trump Taj Mahal, 1991

Trump’s first bankruptcy may have hit the businessman, personally, the hardest, according to news reports.

He funded the construction of the $1 billion Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., which opened in 1990, primarily with junk bonds at a whopping 14 percent interest. A year later, the casino was nearly $3 billion in debt, while Trump had racked up nearly $900 million in personal liabilities. So Trump decided to file for Chapter 11 reorganization, according to the New York Times.

As a result, Trump gave up half his personal stake in the casino and sold his yacht and airline, according to the Washington Post.

Bankruptcy No. 2: Trump Castle, 1992

Within a year of his first Chapter 11 filing, Trump found himself in bankruptcy court again for Trump Castle, which opened in 1985. It was his "weakest gambling hall," according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, and ironically faced competition from Trump Taj Mahal. In March 1992, the Castle filed a prepackaged bankruptcy plan, and Trump gave up his 50 percent share in the casino for lower interest rates on $338 million worth of bonds.

Bankruptcy No. 3: Trump Plaza and Casino, 1992

The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, which opened in 1984, declared bankruptcy at the same time as the Castle. A $210 million joint project of Trump’s and Harrah’s, the casino had racked up $250 million in debt by 1992, after a staggering 80 percent decline in cash flow. So Trump Plaza filed for prepackaged bankruptcy that spring as well.

Bankruptcy No. 4: Plaza Hotel, 1992

Later that year, Trump filed bankruptcy on another Plaza, this one in New York. Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan for $390 million in 1988, but it accumulated more than $550 million in debt by 1992. In December 1992, Trump relinquished a 49 percent stake in the Plaza to a total of six lenders, according to ABC News. Trump remained the hotel’s CEO, but it was merely a gesture; he didn’t earn a salary and had no say in the hotel’s day-to-day operations, according to the New York Times.

Bankruptcy No. 5: Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts, 2004

Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy again in 2004 when his casinos -- including the Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Marina and Trump Plaza casinos in Atlantic City, and a riverboat casino in Indiana -- had accrued an estimated $1.8 billion in debt, according to the Associated Press. Trump agreed to reduce his share in the company from 47 percent to 27 percent in a restructuring plan, but he was still the company’s largest single shareholder and remained in charge of its operations. Trump told the Associated Press at the time that the company represented less than 1 percent of his net worth.

Bankruptcy No. 6: Trump Entertainment Resorts, 2009

Trump Entertainment Resorts -- formerly Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts -- was hit hard by the 2008 economic recession and missed a $53.1 million bond interest payment in December 2008, according to ABC News. It declared Chapter 11 in February 2009. After debating with the company’s board of directors, Trump resigned as the company’s chairman and had his corporate stake in the company reduced to 10 percent. The company continued to use Trump’s name in licensing

What exactly is your argument? You are the one that brought up his bankruptcies making it sound like he was a complete failure, I simply educated you on some key business terms and principles. Look at the highlighted part of your comment and see why I said restructuring of debt is a lot better than completely folding up, his personal liabilities in each of those bankruptcies were less than 5% of his net worth, he could have folded up and still remain filthy rich. In case you don't understand kindly research the difference between Chapter 11, Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, there's no need to argue when it's clear this is uncharted territory for you. Once again 6 bankruptcies out of over 300 businesses is a high success rate, I challenge you to prove otherwise!

Idiota.

This Trump puts the D in DUMB.

Since he came into Office,it has been one drama or the other. Those that voted for him (the uneducated low lives of America)voted for him to carry out his campaign promises.

So far,he has not being able to achieve any of his boastful rhetorics of his campaign. From building the border wall,to the immigration reform and even the healthcare.

Instead we have been dogged with his relationship with Russia, and now to distract us,he is pointing hands to Obama.

And yes,I am a registered Democrat and will never see anything good in a Trump Administration, that was hacked into power by Russia.

Idiota.
Mummy come and see mumude, he's calling a whole President of America fool and all he has is nairaland on his 3310 sad

I'm a card carrying Democrat too but I do cross party lines to vote on specific candidates and issues.

Not just America, but the whole world should be alarmed that there is an unhinged person at the helm of American power and has the keys to the football.
