In 1985 Nigeria Airways had 17 planes while Emirates had only 3 planes. In 2017, Emirates has 256 planes while Nigeria Airways has none. The Difference is Leadership.

In the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum selected the best brains that the world has to offer whether they are UAE citizens or not.

In Nigeria, we do the opposite. We rely on Quota System instead of merit and then we wonder why things are upside down in our country.

Tribalism, bribery, nepotism and godfatherism have always being Nigeria's biggest problems .nothing is given on merit, you need to know somebody that knows somebody that has somebody's contact to survive here.

Well.. If a leader comes and start gathering our best brains and it turned out the process is lopsided. What do you think the part on the short side will say?
Some Igbo leaders had a meeting some weeks ago and complained that no Igbo is heading any of the armed forces
When we go on complaining... The President did not choose our people, was that not how we got here?
Now, since Ben Bruce is a leader and in the House... How about sponsoring and lobbying a bill to change the quota system
That'll be more appropriate
