A man that is yet to be president and yet would welcome a 7B Naira home is not Nigerian enough?

dont argue what u dont.I stay in abuja & i know where atiku stayed.Uwais house is opposite the old state house while that of atiku is on the other end of the road not far from supreme court.Get your fact well next time
try to do more research, then you will find out.

@bluetooth,
i got this for you.
"The vice president has no accommodation and certainly you will agree with me that it is unbecoming of any government not to provide accommodation for the vice president. It is not convenient for the vice president to be residing in a guest house. The vice president form 1999 to 2007 was occupying the residence of the Chief Justice of Nigeria because where he was staying before was meant for the CJN as contained in the master plan and in order to restore the master plan, it was decided that the vice president should move and allow the CJN to occupy the house. So it became imperative for us to provide accommodation to the vice president.

Dude, you were given that piece as part justification for spending over $40 million dollars on Status Building and you do not think it good to check that against the facts??

There's no point arguing with you.Get it now once & for all.The road we are talking about accomodates millinieum park to the left,former cjn house to the left,former state house opposite it,to the left again leads to Aguda house presently occupied by jonathan,also to the right is the national assembly and supreme court while by the exit is the house formerly occupied by atiku.I still say it that instead of spending #7 billion on building a new vp residence,the former vp residence occupied by atiku should be renovated.Based your arguements on facts/evidence and not your "i also live in abuja" mentality.Free mi jo

Re: Vice Presidents House To Cost 7 Billion Naira by chidichris(m): 9:56am On Dec 25, 2009
this is a welcomed development. at least pdp can boast of a tangible achievement of the years as building a befitting residence for the vp will a right step in the right direction.
i love our democracy. in other countries, the citizens will not be allowed to hear this until it is done but see how pdp descends so low as to inform us before hand and thereby give us room to air our useless opinions.
on the other hand, this far much below my expectations as i expect something above 10 billion.
these great men and women who have brought us this far are worth taking care of.
look arround u and see how good it is a to be a nigerian. how flasy, secured, peaceful, standard, protectional and provisional my beloved country is. what reasons do we have not to pray for more yrs for these men and women who have given us reasons to laugh.
no wonder after gathering all these funds, they end up sleeping with their own daughters inlaw behaving like dogs and pigs, going mad in the presence of wealth and dying painful deaths and you think God is not watching.

It is true our no 2 citizen deserves a befiting house at the expense of the poor masses who they claimed they are serving. Servant is living a luxury live while the master (nigerians) begging for food. Where did the former vice president live?

You guys got it all wrong. The 7billion is for the foundation and the garden. The real house project would need about 40billion

Hockey too will be designed as part of the house. These people in govt are just rogues. Only God will deliver this nation. YEYE PEOPLE.
