There are many words used to mean lovehttps://penmyemotions.com/misuse-misinterpretation-love/ (this words are misuse of love) as a result of peoples familiarity and perception. Please do keep to heart that these words do not in any way mean Love, here are some of them:

1.)Infatuation:A selfish desire to have someone or something. We want the individual(mostly sexually) so much that we feel we are willing to go to any length to get them.Love tends to be more toward desires for the individual we love.

We want and seek the person we love to be happy even if it demands sacrifice(s) on our own part.If you think you are in love, ask whether what you are giving the person is conditional or reciprocation. If it is,then you are likely giving to the other person in order to lure them closer to you…and this stems and gives rise to infatuation.

2.)Lust is when:
+You are interested in having sex but not having a conversation/conversations
+You’re totally focused on a persons looks and body
+You’d rather keep the relationship o a fantasy level and not discuss real feelings.
+You want to leave soon after sex rather than cuddling/breakfast in the morning.
+You are not lovers but friends
+If distance comes between you and him or her,you become impatient and persistent on ending things.
+You do not plan your future with them and are not serious about where your relationship is going.

3.)Crush:a super facial type of attraction based solely on attraction to an opinion of the other person rather than the person they actually are on the inside. Some see a girl and think “Wow” and then forgets about her while others keep her constantly in mind for weeks, months or years. Either-way a crush will fade away but Love wouldn’t.

4)Affection:To care about fondly.

5}Attraction:To be drawn towards a person.

6)Trust:ability to know what a person is all about,to have a measure of faith in,belief that what was said will be done and is true.

7)Intimacy:A special closeness to another with mutual deep respect for them and their opinions, thoughts and feelings. A relationship you feel comfortable with sharing secrets and special moments that no one else is allowed to share.

coolObsession:An unhealthy attachment that gets in the way of your daily life.

9)Passion:Intense conviction and drive for a particular person or thing.

BUT

Love is Patient,it is kind.It does not envy,it does not boast,it is never proud.

“Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude.Love does not demand its own way.It is not irritable or touch.”-1 Corinthians 13:4-5

You know you are in love when:
+You want to spend quality time together other than sex
+You get lost in conversation(s) and forget about hours passing.
+You want to honestly listen to each other’s feelings, make each other happy.
+He/She motivates you to be a better person.
+You want to get to meet his/her family and friends.
+You can stand the distance test as long as it takes and when necessary no matter how long it is.
+You want to grow old with them.
+You want to do everything with that person be it traveling, working, eating, sleeping, exercising, playing games e.t.c
