It is not about their compensation or otherwise, it is about our criminal laws that would still set these crooks free in spite of mountains of evidence. A typical example is Ibori's case, evidences of lootings presented in Nigeria against him were more than the ones presented against him in London. Other examples are recent courts judgements to unfreeze the frozen accounts of looters despite the fact that the huge amounts of money found in their accounts are far higher than what they actually earned.
