NwaObinkita:
RIP to him
Because SARS will still come for him

After watching the video, I admit the SARS officer shot in self defense.
What right thinking Nigerian confronts an armed policeman in front of his patrol Squad?

It's either his village people were playing his death drum for him to dance to

Or

He took a mixture of Sapele water and Oghara weed.
Im small talisman dey give am mind to confrot police... Iranu

This is yet another story of police brutality which is spreading like wildfire by the day..and for those who thinks the poor guy brought the fate upon himself, I only pray ur ways don't cross with that of dis beasts. While I don't sanction confrontation wit them, d truth is that they r always quick to release their venom at d slightest provocation. Just over a month ago in this same delta state precisely btw Ogwash and Kwale these SARS guys stopped d bus I was travelling in and after searching everyone and found tramadol on a man who claimed it was a prescription from a doc as he is an ulcer patient, almost killed d man wit beatings. He was handcuffed and placed behind their van for hours b4 we arranged for 10k to bail him. Some of us who had laptops without receipts paid 5k to secure each while a youth Corp member who couldn't afford the cash and was trying to query their motive got the living daylight beaten out of him.Another guy who rwfused handing out his phones to them to check quoting the clarification from the IG against such also have a terrible story to tell of that incident. This goes on like everyday especially in Delta State.
There was another story coming from Benin about a driver who got chained like an animal to their van while he was driven and dragged on the ground for some yards until the intervention of the bewildering mob. This in itself is jungle justice from police and it shouldn't happen in sane climes. Those responsible for these crimes should b duly brought to justice and we should all do our bits to ensure police brutality stops. The authorities should b made aware of these incidents and ive been thinking of an effective forum to do that. Their facebook and twitter handles are dormants and posts never gets attended to/replied. Nairalanders lets brainstorm and come up with a solution..Don't wait to b the next victim of their brutality.
