N-Power Urgent: Abuja N-Power Volunteers

Many things concerning the N-Power programme have recently taken place few weeks ago. Different kinds of information about N-Power volunteers were asked. Some were genuine while a lot were fake.

The reasons for requesting the N-Power volunteers to submit their details were two.

1. A request to Focal Persons from Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development to compile a comprehensive list of already exited N-Power volunteers (those who have exited prior to the final disengagement of the N-Power volunteers in the month of June and July, 2020).
Though many states will not have the comprehensive list, some don't even have any at all.

2. Recently a template was sent to Focal Persons to get the the N-Power volunteers to write their NPVN ID, their names and to indicate if they are interested in the Transition.

So based on request NO.1 above, many states came up with different ways of collecting information from their N-Power volunteers. These were shared on various social media, there by causing lots of confusion.

FCT already has a comprehensive data of all N-Power volunteers that absconded, resigned or died during the programme (except those that resigned online and those that absconded from their places of work and reported to N-Power Head office by the N-Power Monitoring team).
Similarly we have the data of all those that applied for reposting from one PPA to another and even few women that applied for maternity leave officially.

Therefore with the records we have, I don't think we will need any information from N-Power volunteers regarding the first request from the Ministry.

However, regarding the second request in which the Ministry is requesting the Focal Persons to get the details of N-Power volunteers that are interested in transition programme, we have decided to share the forms with you via your whatapp group chat and other channels.

Therefore, you are please expected to organize yourselves according to your PPA. Choose a coordinator among you that will coordinate the filling of the form. Once the form has been filled by the N-Power volunteers in a particular PPA, the coordinator will get the list typed and send it to fctabujanpower@gmail.com

Please NOTE the followings:
1. Only forms filled by the N-Power volunteers in their respective PPAs and sent to the email by the selected coordinator will be accepted.
2. Submission of details through SMS, whatpp will also not be accepted.
3. Submission by an individual will not be entertained (it has to be collectively done).
4. Any N-Power volunteer that is still keeping or still holding any materials that belongs to his/her PPA or school records and did not submit it back to his PPA will have his name removed from the list after compilation.

Kindly follow the above instructions strictly.

Thank you.

N-Power Volunteers Protest To Hold 5th September 2020 at NTA Complex Abuja .

Time – 10 am.

Theme – PERMANENCY is irreversible

It is now crystal clear, the Humanitarian Minister had been dishing promises without fulfilling any.
“The Minister, Sadiya Umar had advised N-Power volunteers to exercise more patience and await the result of the efforts being made by the Honorable Minister who is currently engaging various MDAs including the CBN and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure that the eligible exited N-Power beneficiaries are transited to government progammes or even employment where available.
She has directed Focal Persons of NSIPs in all the states to submit an updated list and details of the exited N-Power volunteers that are interested in participating in the transition plans of the ministry”
This absorption into MDAs may be a plot to divert N-Power volunteers’ attention from the struggle.
Contrary to this, N-Power volunteers are warning-up for a MEGA PROTEST, tagged “Master of All Protest” (MAP), would take place on the 5th of September 2020.
This will facilitate fulfilment of all promises of absorption if it were possible. But without this nothing can be done because the entire ministry is hard to believe.
The SIT-IN IN ABUJA Protest held 26th of August 2020, was a huge success and a steppingstone for further protests.
Disengaged N-Power volunteers from the 36 states and the FCT took to Abuja city by surprise for a SIT-IN IN ABUJA protest. A protest that will last till October 2020.
N-Power volunteers have already sort police permission and injunction to press on with their demands.
The “SIT-IN IN ABUJA” protest will be a long and precise one, not until the president addresses the situation himself, disengaged N-Power volunteers will not step an inch out of the Federal Capital Territory, protesting N-Power volunteers are to take along with them blankets, stoves, cooking utensils and buckets.
“An Open letter to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Copied to the Vice President, the Senate President, Speaker House of Representative and Ministries”:

The letters were received in the following offices:

Office of The National Assembly Clerk.

Office of Accountant General of the Federation.

Federal Ministry of Justice.

National Human Right Commission.

Federal Ministry of Empowerment, Labour and Productivity.

Federal Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management.

Federal Ministry of Youth and Sport Development

Office of The President.

Office of The Vice President.

Office of The Senate President.

Office of The Speaker House of Representative.

“A Freelance journalist that has connection with AIT and Thisday Newspaper came around. He said he got information about our peaceful protest and decided to come around. He got a copy of the Open Letter, Handbill, and flyer.

N-Power Beneficiaries Stipend Payment Updates for July 2020

As usual N-Power Batch A and B volunteers have been expecting their July stipends as promised by N-Power, yet it seem the payment is not fort coming, so a lot of N-Power volunteers have started throwing questions about N-Power July and N-Power August exit packages, plus N-Power exit transition so we decided to make a post touching the areas of N-Power stipends payment and N-Power contact details.
N-Power actually do not have a specific time or date of payment, as of March to June stipends payment for June stipends started at mid week of Of August 2020, so today i will tell you npower likely date of payment for N-Power July and August stipends 2020.
N-Power may likely start crediting volunteers' account starting from this Month September because according to Sadiya Umar Farouk, N-Power June and July stipends payment has been approved, that was why N-Power dispatched June payment so it’s remaining July payment of which the payment is likely to start next week, many N-Power volunteers have not even received June stipends some are yet to be paid March stipends a lot of you are being owned so many months of stipends unpaid, example many months of N-Power backlog payment that is yet to be cleared.
If you are yet to receive your N-Power stipends payment, i will advice you on one thing, you have to write to N-Power because the response is faster and more positive when you write to N-Power through every N-Power verified and known social media platforms, a lot of N-Power volunteers have had their stipends issues permanently solved, you can contact N-Power on twitter and N-Power on Facebook and Instagram or you can write N-Power using email, here is the N-Power email contact details where you can channel your N-Power problems for speedy solutions, N-Power contact email addresses at apply2018@npvn.ng and apply@npvn.ng or you can call N-Power support lines by dailing any of this hotlines

N-Power help line PHONE NUMBERS

For those N-Power volunteers that are having backlog payment issues i will advice you make sure that there is no negative feed back about you from your Place of Primary Assignment that is your PPA that is the major reason why most of you are having backlog issues because some N-Power volunteers were reported to the N-Power officials.
N-Power volunteers have to make sure that their bank details mostly bvn is complete and correctly inputted and make sure that your name corresponds with whatever they are seeing.
And always make sure that you have never absented yourself from your PPA, without any tangible reasons to do so.

How To Detect A Fake N-Power Transition Data Collection Form

Though the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has asked N-Power State Focal persons to collect data of batch A and B exiting N-Power volunteers interested in the Ministry transition opportunities, they do not create a unified avenue for N-Power volunteers' information collection. Instead, they asked that the data be collected state by State.
A situation that has kept N-Power volunteers confused due to too many data collection form links circulating online.

N-Power volunteers are told to be careful with the information circulating on social media regarding their exit packages, do not disclose your personal data to online fraudsters, its absolute|y risky to do so.
Before you fill any form make sure it is authentic, look out for your State focal person phone number for inquiry. You can visit the NSIP office in your State for an update.

How To Know A Fake N-Power Transition Data Collection Form
Below are ways to Identify fake N-Power Transition form:

Avoid the N-Power Transition form that specify data collection for all N-Power volunteers in Nigeria.
Data collection is done with each State using different methods to collect information.
Avoid Transition forms that demand any information aside the information requested by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
Avoid data collection form that is full of error.
If N-Power wanted volunteers to fill a unified form, they would have sent the link to volunteers' email directly or publish the link on their official page.

Breaking: Humanitarian Minister Confirms Fresh Plans For Exited N-Power Volunteers, Others

The Minister Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq, has said the federal government is putting plans in place to ensure that “exited N-Power beneficiaries are engaged or absorbed into other programmes”.
She stated this Thursday in Abuja during an interaction with National Social Investment Program (NSIP) Focal Persons, Program Managers and State Operations Coordinating Unit (SOCU) officers from all states of the country.
Farouq said she has given approval for the payment of stipends for the exited N-Power beneficiaries of batches A and B, up to the month of June 2020, including that of the independent monitors, adding that the final payment of stipend for Batch B is almost ready for transmission to the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for final checks and payment.
She said: “This event put together to appreciate the efforts of all the focal persons, program managers and others in different states across the federation. I am aware of the sacrifices and commitment you put in to ensure the smooth implementation of the different programmes and I commend your efforts.
“There is no doubt that the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) are critical components of the present Administration’s activities and are vehicles through which His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari‘s vision of lifting 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years will be achieved.
“Since my assumption of office, I have remained focused on ensuring the sustainability and improvement of the programmes bearing in mind the high impact value they have to teeming Nigerians, whose lives have been significantly disrupted as a result of the present humanitarian and economic situation in the country.
“It is against this background that I urge everyone of you to continue to give in your best to ensure the lives of those we are called to serve are made better. We must not lose sight of the fact that each one of the vulnerable persons are not mere numbers or statistics but real people with dreams, hopes, aspirations and a desire to live decent lives in peace and safety.”
She added: “As we renew our commitment to the service of humanity, I will like to seize this opportunity to, once again, state that we have successfully exited Batch A and B of the N-Power beneficiaries in June and July, respectively, and we are still working towards ensuring a transition plan that will further engage or absorb them into other programmes.
“We have also received over 5 million applications from proposed N-Power Batch C and we are currently in the process of selecting the qualified beneficiaries coming into the programme. I assure all the applicants and Nigerians that the selection process will be transparent.
“Furthermore, I wish to reiterate that I have given approval for the payment of stipends for the exited beneficiaries of batches A and B up to the month of June 2020, including that of the independent monitors. Also, the final payment of stipend for Batch B is almost ready for transmission to the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for final checks and payment.
“I therefore appeal for patience and understanding from N-Power beneficiaries omitted for payment in previous months and those in batch B who are to get their final payment.”
