We are not talking about unity..

First.. we have Identified the problem.. NE

second... let's face them (mentally, physically and other wise) ... preferably from different angles ..

It was the Yorubas that ran down Abacha regime... Check ur history

If it's not unity then then it is back to dislike and tribalism after defeating the "common enemy/NE"?

I disagree on this thought....

take away The North cum Fulani cum Arewa from our midst...

Unity between the south would be a natural occurance.

The south are educated, industrious... No matter the quarrel... Have you ever heard of Igbo Yoruba clash... ever... No... we tolerate each other.

but Yoruba always clash with the North in Lagos regularly in Lagos... verify.

Nobody is talking about trust...

They is war going on now... in Nigeria.. bullets and ammunitions war.

A cold war...

If the SE refuse to engage this enemy with words, wisdom and civilize aggression then they should prepare cos this enemy is crude and think like animals.

Yoruba temperament is not an excuse.. it I'd their choice let them suffer the consequences...

I wish South can stop all these bashing and unite for once against the enemy of a progressive Nigeria.

Whether they are sophisticated or not, remember more than 40% of Yoruba votes went to Goodluck (that's almost half) , if not for the northern rigging machine Buhari no for near there.

If Igbos can channel at least 60% of the venom against SW to NE, problem would be half solved
and u supported them for their rigging.

The height of political awareness sweeping Nigeria now is unprecedented. Young people, old, male and female are now getting involve in the debate on the future of Nigeria.

All this problems could had been solved by simple negotiation, dialogue, more dialogue to a point where the morale of the agitators would be down without even giving fully to their demands. instead the government are busy killing unarmed protesters. Openly Threaten 2face against his propose rally in Lagos.

I noticed something.

This so called democratic government led by Buhari and Fulani Militias are hell bent on terrorising the populace to submission and fear.

With the heated polity everyone expect the government to mellow and PLEAD with the whole NIGERIANS instead they are threaten SE with war, threatening SW with Disposing Osibanjo like Abiola, Threatening MIDDLE BELT in their own land (Benue Gov has been crying since, nobody is listening).

They is war already going on, Ask a TIV man or man from Jukun in Taraba, Genocide and counter Genocide is happening now on mambilla plateau.

And we are here arguing, we think it does not concern us. they are threatening everybody with WAR or SUBMISSION.

I guess we have to make that choice soon now or later.

The Middle Belt previously Choose submission, serving the Northern Interest but now they are been plundered, rape, killed... Free Men been treated like slave in their country. their own farmland.

The irony of Nigeria problem is that this so call Fulani Terrorist are very weak, unenlightened, zero education yet proud and arrogant.

I saw some posts by a these Fulani cavemen, It made me vomit.

Let's us all rise and talk. where are my Educated, Reasonable, Enlighten Southerners and Middle Belters.

God Bless.
Well the Igbos r not fighting with anyone or hating anyone. When u abuse them they abuse u back. For them its Biafra through referendum and not war. Some of u will get sense the day u stop using Igbo to gain contracts, friendship, position etc.

Yorubas will never learn they like Tribalism lk amala.Who told you that Igbos r regretting supporting GEJ in 2015?It wouldn't v taken them thing to support APC in 2015 but they prefer integrity openness to greed and betrayal.Since 1966 that yorubas v been putting their eggs in many. baskets were has it led Nigeria to?Even if ur greed gives u d president it make no sense because it shows of ur attitude.

No, the problem of Nigeria is the Igbos, according to some quarters... The Igbos want to subjugate the Niger Deltans. They are the real parasite, in fact na them be Fulani Herdsmen Terrorist. Igbo must go cool
Let me understand this.
So the Igbos want to subjugate the Niger Deltans, and...the rest of Nigeria has been preventing this from happening ?
I am trying to understand the meaning of subjugation as used by this poster. Let me check the dictionary.: To defeat and gain control by use of intimidation or force.

Now, when, in the history of Nigeria, have Igbos or Igbo groups or communities ever waged war, defeated and gained control of any Niger Delta community by intimidation or force ?

Kindly tell us what Igbos have ever taken away from Niger Deltan or minority tribes in the history of Nigeria.

Don't be naive. Did Shagari blockade us and then give us £20 after the war?

Does anyone believe that Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Fulani, Ijaws, and Tiv, share a common destiny?
If we don't have a common destiny, then we are not a nation.
How can we forge a common destiny? That is the task at hand.
Re: Alert!! Igbo And Yoruba Stop Fighting For Once. We Have A Common Enemy by Nobody: 1:36am On Jul 09, 2017
You are the naive one... put the blame on Gowon who was commander in chief NOT Awolowo. The food that was sent to non-combants were hijacked by the Biafran army so the FEC and NOT Awolowo decided to stop feeding the Biafran soldiers.

The Biafran army looted the CBN treasury in Benin and to stop them from using it to buy weapons, they changed the currency.

You're right about food being hijacked. The fact remains Awolowo was part of the regime that blockaded the east. He defended the blockade too. That's on record. Whether he was right or wrong is another story. The bottom line is that he couldn't expect to get Igbo votes after that.

I don't get the correlation between the £20 saga and looting the treasury.
Whether he was right or wrong, his decisions hurt Igbo civilians who had nothing to do with the war.
Re: Alert!! Igbo And Yoruba Stop Fighting For Once. We Have A Common Enemy by Nobody: 11:34am On Jul 09, 2017
The £20 issue should be blamed on Gowon and the military. Awolowo was minister of finance, he was not the person in charge. The blame of the war is on the two top commanders that refused to back-down (Gowon and Ojukwu).

As per the blockade, how can they be feeding the combatants while they were starving the civilians?

The false belief is that Awolowo was responsible for every success of the Nigerian Army.

Yorubas also have a reason to be bitter against the Igbo since they voted Shagari over Awolowo twice.

Dude, that was a sarcastic post. Read between the lines. Nigerians believe that Igbos are there problem.... But we all know the problem of Nigeria. We, Igbos are honest with ourselves, a trait the average Nigerian detest.

NO! But he was part and parcel of the deposed northern political machinery (by Jan '66 coup), who subsequently went on to spearheaded the pogrom on your people that culminated in the civil war.
