chikk:Don't be surprised op was blocked by an overprotective boyfriend with her consent and funny enough this overprotective guy might not add any value to her life now and in the near future. Don't let any man decide how you relate with others especially people you've known as long as they've not made their intentions known unless he's more than willing to provide all answer to your question about life , and many young ladies are always falling into this only to turn around and regret it later. 8 Likes 1 Share |

If I recall, the button "disappears" once you send a friend request to prevent sending multiple requests. If the person does not approve, it will remain gone. It may not mean she blocked you; probably still not approved the request. 2 Likes |

[quote author=BLoomfrancs post=59253208]So there's this woman whom I know from teaching her son as a home tutor. She just said to me that there's a vacancy in ECOWAS where a bilingual officer is wanted on part-time wif a tax-free annual salary of 15,000 dollars which means a monthly pay of 1,250 dollars per month and that's approximately 393,750 naira every month. She broke this news to me because she thought I could speak French fluently but nah I lost interest in the language after highschool. So for the offer not to go by without someone I know getting the position I told the woman to give me time that I know of someone who is perfect for the job. Then here comes the part of the girl wif name Nneoma—not her real name. We went to the same P school and she got admitted to a reputable Uni in the east. Her course, linguistics. So in order to tell her about the job, I sent her a friend's request buh after some days of waiting I got no notification whether she accepted me or not and at my facebook page where I have my sent requests, I checked and to my astonishment I saw nothing. Then to be sure I wasn't mistaken I searched her name again and on her profile the “add friend” button happen to have disappeared. That moment I didn't even know what happened to me; I was totally shocked thinking about why she had just blocked me. Oh was she thinking I was trying to befriend her? Otherwise wtf did she block me for. Wif no other option left I said to myself nna mehn see person wey I wan help dey form big girl fer me when my girlfriend is like 10times more beautiful than she is and even more intelligent. So I went back to the woman and told her she should give the job to another person. So this is it my people wah do y'all think? Drop your comments. Meanwhile The girl when thinking she has blocked me not knowing she blocked 393,725 naira perMe:[/qu NA ONE WITCH FOR HER VILLAGE CAUSE AM. |

When we tell ladies keep an open mind, they don't listen...People use bad character to traumatize their lives... Her attitude has caught up with her...Why not listen to people before cutting them off? Why not try to hear what people have to say before shutting the door? When would we relax and stop all this kind of actions that has little or no benefits... Nice thread op..Thanks for posting it, at least some budding queens will learn from this..You can be beautiful and humble, you can pretty, yet open... My Nigerian sisters take life easy...Worstcase scenario a guy you don't like asks you out, you have every authority in life to say NO, but be open to consider what people have to say to you before shutting them out... I'm not here to advise, the thread was just too irresistible not to comment... 14 Likes 1 Share |

your gf is ten million times this or that blah blah blah. do you need to boast? anyways. if i was in your shoes, i would have still found a way to reach her, and make her know why i was reaching out in the first place. I would make her aware that i knew she blocked me, i would make her give the stupid reason she had, then i would lead her on by allowing her send her cv, its at that point i will block her the way you did it, she doesnt even know she missed anything. so its not paining her. 11 Likes 1 Share |

The lady might not even qualify for the job. That she studied linguistics doesn't mean she can speak many languages. Please, I have a friend who can speak French, English, Hausa and Yoruba. She's is a graduate of French, based in the north and less than 30years of age. I will PM you |

Why use the "wif" when you can conveniently type "with"? Nna meehhn, take note maka next time. Back to the topic. How sure are you it was her that blocked you and not her jealous man? Have you had anything to do with her before? Those may be the reasons. Anyway, are you still looking for that dream job? Want to recruit easily? Nigerian men make a big deal out of every. Your name obviously didn't ring a bell... You're just one of numerous men that add a lady to give her a job connection. Some others have been killed, kidnapped and all sorts. When their pictures get to NL, you tag them slay queen that got slayed. Ladies are just being careful out of experience or hearsays. Though some are actually uncouth. Another job will come for her, that's if she isn't fine wherever she is. Life goes on. Your closing post gives an insight to your kinda person, you're not any better than her...that's if she actually blocked you. You're a proud person. The type I wouldn't want help from... 10 Likes |
