He should have stoped the old man from thanking/greeting or begging him like that. The wise thing to do was to stand up and hold the old. Shaking an elder with one hand is also frowned at in Nigeria.
That's what I was saying. We don't really know how the young man responded. We can't assume he did or didn't because still images don't tell the whole story.
