That's odo iya alaro bridge. I trekked it when i was a student unaware of the dangers. The government really needs to construct railings cause this is like a disaster in waiting.

The bridge has been like that for years, you will only fall from it if you want to, lol,,,,, when passing, is better you don't look down. the mysterious river that passed under the bridge is called of "odo iya alaro" ........ I fear the river die.

Is the airport road not for the federal government? Why is Ambode fixing it?

The fact that Ambode is reconstructing a Federal road in Lagos does not mean the responsibility for fixing all Federal roads now rest on the state govt's shoulders. If anything, we should commend the state govt and criticise the Federal govt for failing in its constitutional responsibilities. Very few state govts in Nigeria have the capacity and the capability to fix their own roads, let alone fix Federal roads.

That said, the process for fixing a Federal road by any state govt is long and wieldy. The bureaucracy is so much that the Lagos state govt had to scream and shout before the MMA road could be approved for reconstruction. It is not what can be done at the whims even when and if the state has the resources and the willingness to do it.

Hope you have been educated a little about the workings of govt.

Vandalize abi steal the rails. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.

However, they should erect something like a concrete stuff if possible, no one will steal that.
