while forward thinking countries are building ground breaking inventions, we in Nigeria are acting on rumors of soldiers injecting vaccines containing monkeypox to stop our kids from attending school. Nigerians attend universities to acquire knowledge but when their relatives tell them to bathe with salt, knowledge flies through the window.

To slap Nigerians dey hungry me.

But wait oh, in the first picture. is that a Lamborghini Police car?

Criminals in Dubai ought to be shaking in their boots, as police in the Arab Emirate have introduced a flying motorbike.

A new video shows a Dubai police officer testing out the new hoverbike, which has rotors instead of wheels that allow it to fly.

The hoverbike, capable of flying 16ft above ground, is seen emblazoned with Dubai police emblems as it is tested for the cameras.

With the hoverbike, police could get to the middle of traffic jams, which would be difficult with a normal car or even a motorbike.

we are still trying to bring on stream coal power plants ,while the rest of the world is scaling theirs down. By 2019 we would get our large crude oil refinery, while the rest of the world begins to moves away from it .
while we are yet to get the tram/bullet trains -countries are transitioning to the magnetic rails.
how far our satellites and space centre?
Do our public universities even realise that the wet-cell batteries, Diesel engines, manual controls and computing etc are getting Ancient?
Do our leaders even realise that electricity, roads, security and employment is a Nigerians basic right -not a gift ?
The world ushered in the space age while for nails we still de stone/concrete age

The design of that propeller driven flying bike looks EXTREMELY dangerous to the rider, and all those who happen to be on the ground if something goes wrong with that contraption in the air.

If the rider of that machine is dislodged from his seat by turbulence or any technical malfunction, he will fall THROUGH those rotating blades, and be instantly processed into ground beef that will shower down to the ground below, as the 400-pound bike also obeys the call of gravity, and plummets towards deadly impact.

Even walking up to that flying blender is fraught with high risk. If the rider is inattentive for so much as an instant, while saddling up or dismounting, in an emergency for example, his legs will be removed with such speed and precision that he will get to observe his own death from massive bleeding, while in a state of full consciousness.

It is both fascinating and entertaining to note the absurd and ridiculous lengths that some Islamic countries will go to TRY and show the world how technologically advanced they imagine themselves to be, despite the glaring fact that whose cultures enslave and marginalize women due to a lingering backwardness that harks to the dark ages of the 17th Century.

From Dubai's "flying taxi" to the Emirates "flying motorcycle", the desperation of those desert fiefdoms to APPEAR civilized is laughable, especially considering the fact that an easy 95% of global terror derives its inspiration AND funding from those very Arab countries, where women remain subordinate to livestock, even in this year of 2017.

Ainsky:

See the problem with that line of thinking is that there's firstly the UAE isn't very Islamic. Sure it's a muslim country but it's very tolerant and allows other religions to practice freely which is one of the reasons for its great success. If it had been Islamist like Afghanistan or Pakistan it would have not attracted non muslim talent and innovation and neither would it have been such an attractive place to live. While they value and uphold islamic culture they also allow other cultures to freely flourish and practice.

They do spend a lot on innovation and science but that is In contrast to a lot of islamic countries. Most spend very little of their gdp on science and research ( http://www.meforum.org/306/why-does-the-muslim-world-lag-in-science) the UAE is the exception, not the norm. That is why secular or at least tolerant governments are ideal.

I agree with you, Democracy isn't perfect but it is the best current system we have. Monarchies can be great like in the UAE but they can also be awful such as in parts of Africa, Asia etc. With a monarchy if you've got a great king you're lucky and your country will progress but if you've got a bad one you're gonna be in for a very bad time. Same thing with democracy and having a good or bad leader. However, in a democracy if the leader is bad you can vote them out or change them at the end of their term. That is not possible in a monarchy. The reason for the UAE's success is not it's monarchial nature but rather excellent, forward thinking moderate leaders with a penchant for being action oriented.
And that is the teaching of the prophet .. Uphold your religion with your last breath but allow other religions to thrive . Trade with them , live with them , eat with them but uphold your religion. That is what UAE stands for .. Not all these mentally impaired 'Muslims' blowing up people and not even considering if Muslims would be casualties .

Nigeria is full of dungs , see wetin these arabs are doing with oil and gas money , there is not even much crime in UAE , these are leaders that love their country

I haven't even experience or heard of any crime since I started residing there. Everything is well organized, you mistakenly scratched someone car even if the car owner is not around you will have stop and report to the police. Nigeria is seriously doomed with bad and selfish leaders.
