Is it a hidden fact that in most states you have a dichotomy between local and 'Abuja' politics and politicians battling to control their localities in all parties since 1999. Is it a secret that most state governors and legislators spend a better part of their resources (time and treasure) 'abroad' for fear of their constituents. Is it a secret that the centre whether government or political leadership is apt and fond of meddling in Internal, local politics, pre-selecting candidates and other anti-democratic tendencies in favour of whoever is the defacto Head of State and I can go on and on.

Ibori was not made in Delta. He was made, supported and empowered in Abuja for one purpose long ago. To corner the resources of his people. Only when he grew too big for his boots die he cut away and sought relevance locally to fortify himself. Empower the people with the power of freedom, stop meddling in local politics and watch people select the right leadership to move themselves forward.

I can understand the north with its age old traditions of feudalism will resist this but southerners are more educated and pragmatic. They want to be the captains of their destinies and this cannot be denied them. Stop scare mongering and flying false flags. Restructuring will solve ALL Nigeria's perennials problems, period.
